In January 2024, the European Commission adopted the Artificial Intelligence in the European Commision (AI@EC) Communication, a strategic plan which outlines the strategic vision of the EC to foster the internal development and use of lawful, safe and trustworthy AI systems. This plan will pave the way for the implementation of the EU AI Act, the world’s first comprehensive law on AI.
