Has this ever happened to your company? You spend countless hours and resources trying to change your company culture and leadership to fix problems, but the issue(s) never really go away. You feel like you're putting band-aid after band-aid on your organization. It might be because you're not getting to the root of the problem. All too often we dial in on blaming leadership and culture, when we should really be focusing on changing the systems at the heart of our companies. Next time you notice a problem, see if you can trace it back to a faulty system. #HR #SystemsThinking #CompanyCulture

Cynthia Tauer, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, PAHR I couldn't agree more. Often times it's easier to blame people but WAY more effective to fix underlying systems. And not all systems need big fixes. Sometimes one new process or slack channel is all that's needed to smooth out a rough collaboration or teaming process.
