This is why we are honored to have grown our Energizing Tomorrow's Leaders Scholarship program to award 81 individual students across 21 counties this year. Some truly exciting news today: Cypress Creek has published our first public-facing ESG Report! It took true collaboration across our teams to pull together all of the wonderful work we accomplished last year and we are thrilled to be able to share the data, stories and insight into the many great Cypress Creek accomplishments throughout 2023. Some highlights in the report: 🔆 Our internal fleet produced enough clean energy to power 250,000 American homes in 2023 🚗We reduced our emissions by 43 percent over the previous year 🌲 Last year we partnered with the National Forest Foundation to plant thousands of trees 💲 We made about $400,000 in direct community investment last year 👩🎓 In 2023 we launched our Energizing Tomorrow’s Leaders scholarship program, awarding scholarships to 35 high school students across the country 👷♂️ Our commitment to safety resulted in an industry-leading safety incident rate of 0.14 for the year In her message opening the report, our CEO, Sarah Slusser, said it best: “I am proud of the work our team has done, and continues to do, as we strive toward a better, cleaner tomorrow each and every day.” Please take a few minutes to check out our report, we can’t wait to keep growing it year after year! https://lnkd.in/eSY7M3xp

This is such a thoughtful take from our CEO, Sarah Slusser, reflecting on the recent commissioning of our Zier Solar + Storage site in Texas. The site will provide more than $20 million dollars to the community over the 40-year life of the project while producing enough energy to power more than 40,000 homes annually and, through the battery storage system on the site, is already helping Texas meet high energy demands in the summer heat.    So much important legislative work has been done to level the playing field for vital investments in clean energy infrastructure like our Zier site, but we still have a ways to go to break down the barriers to development ensuring a clean energy future that benefits communities everywhere. https://lnkd.in/eh8VfB4m

We are incredibly proud to have cut the ribbon on our Zier hybrid solar and storage project in Texas last week. This site will: 💡Produce enough clean energy annually to power more than 41,000 homes 💲 Provide $23.3M in tax revenue over its lifetime to Kinney County, Texas and the local school district 🔋 Add much-needed stability to the Texas grid through battery storage A HUGE thank you to everyone who made this site possible and celebrated with us at our wonderful event last week.

Last week we celebrated the commercial operation of our Zier Solar + Storage site in Brackettville Texas with an amazing ribbon cutting. The 208MW site, our largest hybrid site to date, will produce enough energy annually to power more than 40,000 Texas homes and features 80MWh of battery storage which has already been utilized in times of need by the ERCOT grid. Zier will also bring $23.2M in tax revenue to the county and local school district to help support the future of Texas. “Clean reliable power is critical to supporting the remarkable continuing growth happening in Texas,” our CEO, Sarah Slusser, said. “We are incredibly proud to be bringing online more solar and dispatchable energy from batteries like ours at Zier, which have already proven vital to keeping the lights on and the air conditioning running when Texans need it most.” Thank you so much to the partners that joined us in cutting the ribbon last week. The Cypress Creek team stepped away from their normal Monday routines this week to make a difference in their communities.
