The U.S. Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and Federal Communications Commission co-manage the nation’s radiofrequency spectrum and orbital resources, including assignments  for space users. NTIA also promotes global connectivity via  satellite systems  and engages with likeminded partners globally.
