3MTT KNOWLEDGE SHOWCASE Fellow ID: FE/23/55340196 Cohort 2 🎉 Proud to share my latest project as part of the 3MTT Knowledge Showcase! 🎉 I recently designed and developed a comprehensive Healthcare Database System using MySQL to improve data management for healthcare facilities. This system includes key entities like Patients, Doctors, Appointments, Medical Records, Billing, and Medications – all structured to ensure seamless operations and patient care. The database enables: - Efficient storage and retrieval of patient medical records, - Tracking of doctor appointments and diagnoses, - Management of billing and prescriptions for improved service delivery. 🔗 Here’s a quick breakdown of some database features: Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) to visualize data flow. SQL queries to manage medical records with ease and precision. Foreign key constraints: ensuring data integrity between entities like Patients, Doctors, and Medical Records. This project showcases the power of data management in revolutionizing healthcare, making it possible to provide faster, more reliable care while reducing errors. 🚀 #3MTTNigeria #myknowledgeshowcase #3MTTOgunstate

While it’s great to have tools specifically designed to help manage an incident, the success of those tools can hinge on how often teams have the opportunity to practice with them. Building muscle memory will allow responders to lean on the system during a crisis. #PatientWristbands #MCI #IncidentManagement

At Heartrunner Sweden AB we’re always open for research collaborations and to share data for evaluating the effect of our system and its impact on society. This is a part of our legacy, that we build the future upon! We currently support several international research projects with data. When the results are published, we invite the authors to present them to us over Teams. The other morning we enjoyed listening to Erik Prytz from Linköping University. The talk was on the recently published paper »What motivates and demotivates emergency response volunteers? A survey-based factor analysis study.« Data comes from over 5,000 active volunteers in Sweden, responding to an online survey. The results showed that factors like self-image and competence, alongside a feeling of doing good in the community, were the strongest positive predictors of the motivation to continue as a volunteer responder. Volunteers from rural areas and small cities reported a higher sense of engagement than those in large cities, and this is also something we notice in our contact with the volunteers. If we were to evolve short research talks into a webinar, would you be interested to attend or present your work? Let us know what you think! #everyheartcounts #ohca #cpr

EO 12866 Meetings – DEA’s Proposed Telemedicine Rule Let’s face it. Federal rulemaking is a complex, sometimes excruciating process. I think of the analogy of watching paint dry or grass grow. Not very exciting. However, I can’t deny and shouldn’t minimize the importance of new regulations. They impact how business operates every day and regulate so many aspects of our lives. Would you like to express your views in person about proposed regulations to agency representatives involved in the rulemaking? There’s a little used (or known) process provided by the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) know as an Executive Order (EO) 12866 meeting. EO 12866 meetings are listening sessions arranged by request to OIRA. Typically, representatives from the rulemaking agency and other federal agencies attend but are in listening mode only, not sharing additional details. Agency participants may ask clarifying questions. Meetings usually last 30 minutes and may be in-person or virtual. Requests for an EO 12866 may be made online. As an example and as posted on the OIRA website, DEA was busy last week with three EO 12866 meetings regarding it’s proposed telemedicine rules. Meetings were held on July 9, 10, and 11 and were requested by Talkiatry, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, and the American Hospital Association. Further information about other participants and documents presented during the above meetings are available on the OIRA website. Here’s a link regarding those three meetings and others held concerning the same topic. https://lnkd.in/gnkYUxKH

🧐 DTAC - Trust... but verify! 💡 DTAC (Digital Technology Assessment Criteria) is a self-assessment - it can tell you if something is there - a process, a certificate - but not the effectiveness, quality or impact of that feature. 💡 Case in point yesterday from Dominic Vallely and Emmy Graham at the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Digital Primary Care Board , who outlined the significant variation in #usability for #OnlineConsultation solutions, despite all having a completed DTAC 😬 Key take home for me was this: 👉When choosing a digital tool, due diligence doesn't stop with DTAC. Has there been independent testing or assurance done? (shout out to ORCHA who independently assess against DTAC!) Is there an accessibility statement? 📃 What is their process for Usability and Accessibility Testing? Do they have their data to share? 📊 Are they aware of the design principles in the NHS Digital Service Manual (link below)? 📖 These are just a few questions that might help tease out the finer details when it comes to the usability and accessibility of #DigitalHealth tools #DigitalHealth #HealthTech #MedTech #HealthInnovation #HealthInformatics https://lnkd.in/eD64mGuf

MHN's C-Suite Panel is 100% opt-in. This matters because it means every participant has "voluntarily" joined our database and completed a preliminary screener, thereby ensuring higher levels of engagement, accuracy, and reliability. #HealthcareResearch #HospitalCSuite #OptInPanel #MarketResearch #MHN #HealthcareInsights #ClientSuccess #ReliableData #QuantitativeResearch #QualititativeResearch #SusanOwens
