Good learning opportunity

A good Opportunity to gain the knowledge of the pharmecutical industry

HPA student, Alexa Bellino, is interning with SUN PHARMA this summer! Regarding her internship, Bellino shares, "I am looking forward to working with the different teams and learning more about their roles. I hope to gain a tremendous amount of information about each role in the pharmaceutical industry as you don't realize how much goes into it when you are on a specific team. I also hope to be able to narrow down what I want to do with my career and tailor my experience in that area."

Since 2020, I have supervised 8 summer internships (3 funded by #THYMEProject and 5 by #UniversityofHull Student Futures; around £20k in total). These projects have hugely benefited my research team and helped my interns to acquire essential skills and knowledge in order to survive and succeed in a highly demanding job market. Many of them presented their work at national scientific conferences or worked at local companies, such as Bio-D. #nationalapprenticeshipweek
