Canada’s Pattison Food Group faced a complex optimization task: streamline workforce scheduling across 58 stores, each with unique labor agreements and dependencies. By working with D-Wave’s professional services team to develop a hybrid quantum optimization solution, the grocery chain was able achieve an 80% reduction in scheduling time and ensure a consistent workforce scheduling process.
