The data is clear: Businesses are turning to quantum to gain competitive advantage today. Bob Sorensen, Senior Vice President of Research at Hyperion Research was on stage at #Qubits24 to share the latest industry insights on how quantum computing is being explored by commercial end users based on a recent survey of approximately 300 respondent organizations spanning the US, Germany, France, UK, Italy, and Spain. Here were some of the highlights from the results: ✅ Organizations expect up to 20x ROI from quantum optimization investments. ✅50% more companies plan to put quantum into production than reported two years ago. ✅Finance-oriented optimization, supply-chain management and manufacturing were the leading candidates for quantum computing applications. ✅Respondents cited a broad range of business-related incentives for quantum computing adoption including increased efficiencies and revenues. These results are evidence of the increasing relevance and adoption of quantum computing across industries.
