As a recruiter, I strongly encourage medical professionals considering agency work to choose the agency that best fits their needs. Some key factors to consider when making your decision are… . . . . . 📂Reputation and Reviews: Research the agency's reputation within the industry. Look for reviews from other medical professionals who have worked with them. A reputable agency will have positive feedback and a track record of placing candidates in roles that match their skills and career goals. 🙌Support and Resources: Evaluate the level of support and resources the agency provides. This includes access to training and professional development opportunities, assistance with licensing and credentialing, and availability of a dedicated recruiter to help navigate job placements and career advice. 📑Contract Terms and Benefits: Carefully review the contract terms and benefits offered by the agency. Consider aspects such as pay rates, benefits (health insurance, retirement plans), job flexibility, and the locations of available assignments. Ensure that the agency's offerings align with your personal and professional priorities. #recruitmentalley #recruitment #jobsearching #takeitfromarecruiter

As a UK based healthcare recruitment agency owner, I hear the following on a DAILY basis when approaching clients I’m confident I can help: 🗣️ "We handle this internally." "We don't use recruiters." "We don't have the budget." "We have no open vacancies." I don’t take this personally, as its the automatic response when someone in my profession reaches out to an NHS #medicalstaffing department or an approved clinical insourcing company for the first time… This type of response is most likely (not always) because the foundations of trust haven’t been built… (yet) How is this rapport and trust built? 🧐 What I’ve seen success in is building relationships over time in an honest, genuine and delivery focused way. ✅ It’s about cutting the waffle, BS and setting realistic expectations to the clients I help with their recruitment solutions. Honestly, I don’t blame the service managers, medical staffing teams or HR… recruitment is saturated with “sharky recruiters” and unethical behaviour. From this, people say external recruitment needs to dramatically “revolutionise” and “change”… does it? Back to basics - Communication is key! 🔑 From the feedback I receive, I believe it’s about listening to our clients problems and offering genuine and ethical solutions that can be delivered in a timely and cost effective manner to create a win-win situation. Why are there no interviews? It has been a strange and uncertain time waiting for interviews with the NHS. It is and strange feeling for us recruiters waiting for news. Waiting for the Green light and the vacancies to drop so we can place our candidates. We have had some interviews but not as many as previous years. Rumours that the NHS will no longer recruit international nurses are circling, people are panicking, so let’s set the record straight. The NHS is facing many challenges when it comes to recruitment. These challenges are influenced by both internal and external factors including the up-and-coming election. One major issue is the “pre-election” period which imposes restrictions on the government and public bodies including the NHS. During this time, there can be no new policy announcements or procurement contracts and the NHS must act impartially, which can delay or limit recruitment efforts. The election year also adds a layer of complexity as the management of healthcare becomes a key political issue. In addition, changes to immigration policies affecting international recruitment have added to the recruitment challenges. The introduction of salary thresholds for skilled workers, including those in non-medical roles within the NHS affects the ability to recruit internationally which has been a significant source of new hires for the NHS. We are in the meantime actively recruiting for that moment the light goes green, but for now it is a waiting game. We do have the following vacancies: Band 5 NICU Nurse Band 5 Mental Health Nurse Band 7 Sonographer (U.K. only) Band 5 Occupational Therapist Cross sectional radiographer (MRI/CT) Jobs details are on our website https://lnkd.in/e4PKemjs #nhs #nhsengland #nhsuk #recruiment #ukpolitics #ukelection #overseasrecruitement #sonographer #sonography #OT #NICU #Mentalhealth #Nurses

Military Spouse turned Healthcare Recruiter | Partnering with Healthcare Organizations to Find Top Talent for Cutting-Edge Healthcare Opportunities | Nurse Practitioners, RNs, CMAs & Much More
It's never too late... I was conversing with an individual who is tired of their work situation. This individual falls in the age group of middle 50s. As the conversation progressed, the person stated that they were too old to start over with another job opportunity, so they were going to stick with the job they are in now. I cringed at that statement. My immediate thought was that it's never too late. Why? 5 things will increasingly get you in the door for an interview with the hiring manager depending on the requirements. ➡ A great Healthcare Recruiter (me of course) ➡ Knowledge ➡ Skills ➡ Experience ➡ Education Do not talk yourself out of a great opportunity; take a chance on yourself.
