We are thrilled to announce our five commitments to support California’s ambitious goal of deploying six million heat pumps by 2030. This starts with · Daikin forging a path to deploy one million heat pumps in the state by 2030, aligned to our belief that inverter-based heat pumps are crucial for advancing environmental sustainability and carbon neutrality goals and reducing costs in local communities. Through our ongoing collaboration with the California Energy Commission, Daikin will also: · Establish new local distribution locations and training centers to support heat pump installations. · Open a Sustainability and Innovation Center to showcase the benefits of inverter heat pumps and other decarbonization technologies. · Partner with utility companies to promote inverter-based heat pumps through education and incentive programs. · Play a key, leading role as part of the new California Heat Pump Partnership in developing a blueprint for installing six million heat pumps by 2030.
