Integrity and compliance are a way of life at DICV, guiding how we consistently do things the right way and this event perfectly reiterated this important message. From meeting our Buddy – our new compliance mascot, which stole the show – to expert sessions on Speak Up & Whistleblowing, Anti-Trust, Data Compliance & Privacy and Product Compliance and wrapping up with fun and interactive gamification of critical compliance and business topics, this event was not only enjoyable but also highly insightful. The highlight of the event was the Reward and Recognition of all our Compliance Champions, who consistently demonstrated ethical behavior throughout the year, serving as role models for us all. The recent two-day visit of Dr. Florian Hofer, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Daimler Truck AG, turned out to be an exciting one. Florian had the opportunity to engage with our management, tour our cutting-edge manufacturing facility and experience our innovative products firsthand. From test-driving our vehicles and taking a walk at the green arena to participating in a fireside chat with the dedicated legal and compliance team, Florian experienced our commitment to integrity, manufacturing excellence and sustainability. It is with profound sadness that we remember the sudden and unexpected passing of Mr. Sushant Balsekar, Head of Communications on 12th September 2024. Since joining DICV in 2022, Sushant led the corporate communications team with remarkable dedication, professionalism and passion. Sushant was an esteemed and accomplished professional with over two decades of experience in the Indian Auto Industry, spanning PR, journalism and corporate communications. His contributions to our organization were invaluable and his leadership will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside him. During this difficult time, our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
