I AM TIRED! I AM FRUSTRATED! I AM DONE! These were the last things I said before finally giving up on myself when I was only 13 years old. At that young age, I decided to completely change who I was after receiving numerous complaints about my rudeness, disrespectfulness, and foul mouth. I decided I was done with having such negative reviews about my personality and resolved to become a different person to fit the mold of what people believed an ideal 13-year-old should be. However, little did I know that this decision would change my life forever. Once I decided to change, I withdrew from others to avoid saying things that would make people call me “disrespectful.” I lost friends, was bullied at my dad’s school, and, most significantly, lost confidence in myself. I can’t pinpoint exactly when my low self-esteem began, but I found myself not believing in my abilities. I was always scared when asked to do something because I feared I would fail. I never believed people when they called me smart. This is my own story. The Diary of Her is a community dedicated to providing immediate support and resources for women to cultivate self-confidence and empower themselves. It offers a platform for women to connect, share experiences, and uplift each other through encouragement, inspiration, and practical advice. The focus is on taking action in the present moment to create positive change and foster personal growth. Through various events, discussions, and collaborations, the Diary of Her aims to create a space where women can thrive and realize their full potential. Yes, that kind of community is possible. Join us on Diary of Her and become part of a sisterhood where every woman's journey to self-confidence is celebrated. Remember, your story matters, and together, we can build a world where every woman thrives. Finally, I leave you with this parting thought: “Women like you don't happen often. Never forget how rare you are. #EmpowerWomen #SelfConfidence #SupportSisterhood #PersonalGrowth #WomenSupportingWomen #OvercomeChallenges #Inspiration #CommunityBuilding #SelfLove #BelieveInYourself

As women, we carry way more emotions than we are actually designed for. Being natural care-givers, the process of filtering every task through our personal and moral lens for the betterment of our circle is a tedious process. The social functions in the extended family.. the challenging school work, the repeated attempts of self-care often sabotaged before it gains enough momentum to become a habit.. the constant urge to prove ourselves at work.. our numerous tiny good efforts that go unnoticed in a day... all these are ups and downs of daily life. When you have a long line of tasks to be completed, in a day, a week, a month, sometimes it is easy to put on your iron-lady armor and motor on handling one task after another. In the process we forget where to express the right emotions and how to receive another person's emotions gracefully when our own cup is overflowing with responsibilities (and sometimes angst). Ask a lady if she is happy? That question truly baffles her. Most senior aunties in the family would put it down to 'Where is the time to think of all that? I have so much work to complete.' This women's day, take a moment to acknowledge your happiness and make more time for joyful things. Our lives will always be cluttered, we can never organize it to perfection. Never! So let the dishes wait, go finish that bed-time story. Appreciate your spouse more, take off to that beautiful place you had planned years ago, get that thing you always wanted (the finances will never be sorted enough anyways!), prioritize your needs (a happy woman translates to a happy household), voice out your concerns without fear (you will be judged no matter what you do, you might as well be comfortably judged!), stand up for yourself and others, (You might be hated for your guts but being constantly ignored is a lot worse!) and finally, go easy on yourself (you are enough!) To all the strong women, May we celebrate them. May we be them. May we raise them. Happy women's day! #womensday #women #happiness #strength #youareworthy #benditlikebamboo #celebratewomen #empowerment

Leading the Wisdom Revolution 🍃 | Women's Self-Actualization Mentor | Spiritual Mentor | Neo-Shamanic Energy Practitioner | Holistic Nutritionist | Media Expert | Speaker | 🎙Host *Wisdom Becomes Her* podcast
I think a lot of women get this wrong. What do you think? I see a lot of posts for midlife women about getting to a certain age and not giving two flips what people think about them anymore. And that's a good thing. After decades of exhausting yourself from trying to conform to social expectations about how you “should” behave, what you “should” do, how you “should” look combined with the pain of stretching to meet incompatible goals (like: be a dedicated employee AND a perfect mother to kids who never get sick and call you away from said employment), it’s great that you’re ready to call “time.” But if you take a moment to read between the lines of many of these posts, you’ll likely notice that the energy behind the words is not empowered, strong and confident. Instead, I often sense a simmering anger or a deep, painful wound. For sure, the road to being Who You Are is a coloured with all sorts of experiences and emotions, including pain and anger. And anger is an appropriate response to realizing how your life experiences have been manipulated by forces outside yourself. But once you’ve noticed that something isn’t right, you have to move on from the anger. It’s your opportunity to Be different. Using anger as a shield to keep people away from you (sharp boundaries) so you don’t have to risk simply Being Who You Are is no better for your autonomy than saying “yes” to other people all the time (porous boundaries). You’re still giving your power away. But what if, instead, you seize the awareness that you are free to Be Who You (really) Are? To speak from your heart. To feel from your core. To bravely chuck what isn’t working for you, and realign to the guidance of your soul? To do what you came here to do? Rather than coming from anger, the call to step into your power - to Be Who You Are so you can bring your unique presence and gifts to the world - has to come from a conscious, empowered, confident and loving place. Does it feel different in your body when you imagine living this way? Do tell!

Startup Founder Turned Leadership Coach Helping Entrepreneurs + Executives 40+ | Body-Centered, Somatic Transformation
It has come to my attention that my women, the women I serve, are actually childless cat ladies. At least a species of them! Thank you J.D. Vance for this incredible clarity and naming! HA! I work with coaching clients who are mothers and dog people too, but I am pretty sure those people who are drawn to my work identify with the spirit of the childless cat lady. I was making a list of the qualities I am seeking for the group of 8 women I am forming for A Year of Turned-On Living. That's when I realized, actually, these are childless cat ladies. A Year of Turned-On Living brings together my knowledge about what women need to turn on to themselves and their lives, to turn your life into an adventure, to fortify yourself, to live your best, most turned-on life. Turned-On Living is not a direct career investment but it is. Anything related to your personal development that makes you stronger will help in your work and business. Is this you? You make lists. You read books. You are conscientous. You don’t like small talk. You prefer deep conversations with others who are on the path of personal growth. You feel stuck in one way or another. You sense you could benefit from being part of a group focused on growth to help reflect you back to you. You are good at getting things done. You want to more time having fun and enjoying life. You struggle with burnout and would to create rituals of self-care that help you stay grounded and centered no matter what the world throws at you. You want to learn from me how to tap into your own life force energy through Tantric and other somatic, breathwork methodologies I have invented to build your life force and magnetism in many situations You want to get more clear about who you are now, and what you want now and going forward. You want more courage and confidence to do the unthinkable! You want to lean into boldness. You would like more community with dynamic women focused on their own joy, pleasure, empowerment, and precious lives... You are curious about what connecting with your sensuality could do for your self-worth and confidence... You want to more joy, more fun, more adventure in life at every age, especially 40+ You want to overcome long-standing blocks and live freely beyond societal expectations You are a childless cat lady, or dog lady! LOL. I had to throw that one in! You could also not have a cat. I don't. If this sparks you, I would love to hear from you. The group will be 8 and is half-formed. We start in September. The group so far is made up of fantastic women in their fifties. The time is now to reach out. This is a life-changing adventure and the women who are in the group make it so. If this might be you, check out this link and fill out the form, telling me about you! HTTP://https://lnkd.in/eJB7Jjpa This picture is from Regalo Tango Marathon, 10 days ago in Worcester, Mass. Tango is a place where I tune into my own turned-on, blissed-out energy.

🌟 “Freedom or Loneliness?” 🌟 Nobody wakes you up in the morning... You don’t have to do any more school runs... You can do whatever you want... Will you feel this is freedom or loneliness? This resonates deeply with many women who spend their days running around for everyone else, feeling that their needs are secondary. This reminds me of a client I worked with... She left her promising city job to devote herself entirely to her family. Her days were filled with school runs, household chores, and being the ever-present support system for her husband and children. Always available to listen to their problems, she never found time for herself. Years went by, and her children grew up and left home. Suddenly, the woman who had been so busy caring for others found herself alone and uncertain about her purpose. It was a challenging moment, filled with silence and a sense of loss. But instead of giving in to loneliness, she decided to take responsibility for her happiness. We started working together, and she began to see this phase of her life as a new beginning. We explored her needs, likes, and dislikes — things she had ignored for years. It was like witnessing a rebirth. She set new goals and embraced the journey of self-discovery with determination. This story isn’t just about one woman; it’s about many women who dedicate their lives to others, only to find themselves at a crossroads later on. It’s a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to find your purpose and live for yourself. To all the women out there who feel lost or uncertain, know that your story isn’t over. Embrace this new chapter with open arms and discover the incredible person you are meant to be. This is your time to shine. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation and would like to explore your own world, book a no-obligation call (link on profile page). #HealingJourney #BreakTheCycle #SelfAwareness #Transformation

What are you worth? How do you answer that question? As a passionate advocate for female empowerment, I love supporting women in the workplace and beyond; celebrating a woman’s worth is an integral part of my mission. Even the most confident, ambitious women often struggle with feelings of inadequacy, believing they are not enough in various aspects of their lives. This self-doubt can lead to unhealthy behaviours like overeating, overspending, and overworking as a way to fill perceived gaps in our self-worth. We must challenge and change this narrative. When we respect and celebrate our unique gifts, we shine brighter and inspire others to do the same. Here are some actionable steps to help us celebrate our worth and support each other: 📌Self-Compassion: When you catch yourself being self-critical, pause and speak to yourself as you would to a loved one. Be encouraging, patient, and kind. 📌Support Sisterhood: If you find yourself judging another woman, take a moment to empathise and let go of the criticism. Embrace compassion and celebrate her for who she is. 📌Mindful Living: Before you turn to food, shopping, or work to soothe yourself, ask what you truly need and seek to fulfil that need from within. 📌Reframe Negative Thoughts: Replace negative self-talk with positive affirmations. Celebrate your achievements and recognise your strengths. 📌Reject Comparison: Stop comparing yourself to others. Celebrate your uniqueness and appreciate the qualities that make you unique. 📌Define Your Worth: Only you can define your worth. Live your truth, follow your dreams, and reject societal expectations that limit your potential. By embracing our intrinsic worth and supporting each other, we can create a world where women feel valued and empowered. Healing the planet, one voiceful, blissful human at a time. Author - Find Your Voice, Save Your Life books, Intuitive Coach/Mentor, Reiki Master Teacher, Podcaster, Trainer of Certified Find Your Voice Healers
One of the hardest things to do in this life is to show up for yourself. It can feel much less challenging to show up for others. But that just lets us ignore ourselves and our needs. We need to start honouring ourselves with deep love and compassion so we can show up, stand up, and speak up for what we need, want, and desire. 💖 Join me for "Stand By Me," a dive-deep course for women ready to show up for themselves and use their voices to get what they want. Along with my signature training to find and use your voice, Find Your Voice, Save Your Life, here are just some of what we'll explore in our safe and supportive space, within a small group of other amazing women on their own transformational journeys: 🌿 Whole-Self Care: what it means to care for every part of you; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, and why this practice is life-changing. 💃 Dance Parties (kind of my thing!): movement through dance is not only fun, it's a way to connect to our inner selves and keep our vibration high. ✨ Conscious Decision Making: standing by your Soul as your guide instead of constantly reacting to what others need of you. Are you ready to be part of a nurturing community and follow a path of profound self-discovery and joy? Stand By Me is my favourite and most impactful program in supporting women to be who they want to be, living the lives they want. Check it out at this link, and start by filling out the Intention Form and booking a time for us to chat. https://lnkd.in/eDxxAtEP 💜🎉 #StandByMe #WholeSelfCare #Empowerment #DanceAndShine
