🍂 It’s all too easy to glance at our lives and focus solely on the hustle, the challenges, and the never-ending to-do lists. At first glance, we often see what's tangible: our job titles, deadlines, and the blinking notifications that demand our attention. But during this season of gratitude, ask yourself, "What do I really see?" Seeing, in its truest form, goes beyond the surface. It invites us to delve deeper, to recognize the richness in our experiences, and to appreciate the tapestry of connections, opportunities, and growth around us. This perspective shift transforms ordinary moments into extraordinary ones, highlighting the gratitude that surrounds us each day. During Thanksgiving, we are reminded to slow down and look beyond what we typically notice—to see the support of our colleagues, the encouragement of mentors, and the resilience within ourselves. We are urged to see the potential for innovation and collaboration rather than obstacles. This Thanksgiving, I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with visionary individuals who see beyond the immediate and aspire to greatness. What are you grateful for this season? Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 🙏 #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Inspiration #GrowthMindset

Whether on the field, in the boardroom, or spending time with loved ones, this time of year is a reminder to pause and appreciate the journey. For me, the holidays symbolize gratitude—for mentors who guide us, teammates who challenge us, and the people who inspire us to keep growing. It’s also a time to set intentions for the year ahead, focusing on how we can give back and make a positive impact. What are you most grateful for this holiday season, and how do you plan to carry that gratitude into 2025?

Keep the magic alive. When you’re young, you get excited about the presents, Santa Claus and having time off from school. When you’re older, the holiday evolves into appreciating time with loved ones, a period of reflection and feelings of gratitude. This is similar to changing needs in a company. When you’re early in your career, what excites you about joining a company may not be what fulfills you years later. Your intrinsic and extrinsic needs/motivations change over time. Life has a healthy way of throwing us curveballs that shift our priorities - at home and in work. Over time, those priorities also become clearer as we solidify our values and our identity. Remember that the company you’re building - just like the holiday season - will need to adapt and evolve for people of all ages and tenures. Doing your best to create magic isn’t just about retaining and engaging employees; it’s about creating relationships and memories for people to look back in reflection and be grateful for.

As the champagne glasses are raised and the year winds down, I’m reminded that success is not just about goals but about the journey and the people who walk it with us. 🥂✨ New Year’s Eve is always a time of reflection—a moment to look back on the challenges we’ve faced, the milestones we’ve reached, and the lessons we’ve learned. This past year has been full of growth, both personally and professionally, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey. 🙏 No matter what field you’re in or what goals you’re pursuing, the path forward often comes with twists and turns. It’s about navigating the unexpected, celebrating the wins, and staying resilient when the road gets tough. 💪 It’s also about the people—the colleagues, mentors, and supporters—who make it all possible. 👏 As we step into the new year, I’m filled with gratitude for those who have been part of this journey and excitement for what’s ahead. Celebrate your progress, learn from your challenges, and stay focused on the possibilities ahead. Wishing everyone a safe and happy New Year. I recently celebrated my 37th birthday with a long weekend getaway, surrounded by four of my closest childhood friends. As I reflected on the past year—both personally and professionally—here are my top three takeaways from my 36th year and 3rd year as a business owner: 1. You Can’t Do It All (And That’s OK): When I first launched Elevate, I had a clear vision of how I wanted to grow the business, but I quickly realized I couldn’t carry every task on my own shoulders. Learning to delegate wasn’t just an option—it became a necessity. Trusting others with key responsibilities has been a game-changer. 2. Build a Team You Trust: This year reinforced the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people. I’ve worked hard to cultivate a team that I not only trust but who truly believes in our mission. With the right support in place, even when I’m taking a break for some much-needed R&R, I know Elevate is in good hands. 3. Celebrate Your Wins (Big and Small): Whether it’s taking a step back to reflect on how far you’ve come or simply enjoying a weekend off with friends, it’s crucial to celebrate yourself and your achievements. This year, I’ve learned that self-care and celebration are just as important as hard work. Here’s to another year of growth, lessons, and continued celebration! #birthdaycelebration #happybirthday #itsmybirthday
