Who is responsible for this creation? Me. Whilst reading the 100th book on parenting (or let's be honest, the millionth video on tiktok...) I learnt that when showing our little ones how to draw or make marks with pens we should try to refrain from doing it perfectly. The initial experience isn't about mastery. It is about enjoyment. It is a sensory experience. It is about self motivation. It got me thinking about; a, how awkward it felt it to do something not perfect *on purpose* b, how rarely we get to do anything without thinking about the end result. How does this affect how much we get to truly experience or enjoy something? (If you think about it, many of us are even tracking our sleep now...) What do you think? Would you be able to draw outside the lines on purpose? What do you do without thinking about the end result?

Sleep and stress management coach specializing in empowering midlife women to achieve better sleep through stress reduction and improved time management strategies.
💗 Did you know that our bodies, especially our hearts, respond to external sounds during sleep? A recent study challenges the idea that we disconnect from our environment while resting. 💗Relaxing words have been shown to slow down cardiac activity, leading to deeper sleep, unlike neutral words that don't affect heart rate. 💗As someone who enjoys falling asleep to spiritual, inspirational, and self-improvement audiobooks, especially while traveling, it's fascinating to see science aligning with our experiences. This research highlights the vital role of brain-heart interactions during sleep and opens new doors for improving sleep quality through auditory stimuli. Let's continue to explore the connection between our senses and sleep for better rest! 💤 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/ga_DBDEa #brainhealth #sleepcoach #sleepcoaching #sleepscience #sweetdreamscoaching #lifecoach #coaching #insomnia #sleep #selfcare #healthylifestyle #sweetdreams #health #sleeping #sleeptips #sleephacks #sleepy #sleepexpert #healthysleephabits #healthysleep #bettersleep #sleeptips #sleepforhealth #circadianhealth #circadianrhythm #wellness #chronotype

Efficient work, good attitude, peaceful relationships--it all has a common denominator. (And it's not a detox smoothie.) SLEEP! And about 1 out of 3 of us don't get enough. 😴 It's not the only important thing. But it's a very important thing. I love this topic, and I consider myself lucky to have produced/narrated a book about it. Introducing: Grown-ups Need Bedtime Stories Too: Stories, Meditations, and Science-Backed strategies to Help You Take Back Bedtime.
