CEO @ Issues Management Group | Strategic Communications Expert

April traditionally marks new beginnings, so it’s quite fitting that the Issues Management Group brand launched two years ago this month. It has been an incredible journey to this point, and it would not be possible without IMG’s hardworking, creative staff and our stellar roster of clients. I am eternally grateful to each and every one of you.   Although I’m sure no one would fault me for looking back, given the milestone, I’m more keen to look ahead. Here are three things I am particularly excited about as we enter IMG’s third year.   Dominating Healthcare Healthcare has always been a core component of our DNA, but we now work with many of the largest healthcare systems across Massachusetts. As proud as we are to be so deeply embedded within the space, the current environment has levied some of the greatest challenges this industry has faced. Those are documented in the daily barrage of headlines – many of which paint a negative picture of the state of affairs. Despite the adversity, the IMG team is full steam ahead promoting the great work of their clinicians and the value offered by their high-quality care delivery models.   Continuing To Grow   To meet the evolving needs of our current and future clients, we are always looking for strategic growth opportunities. We have long had a presence in New York, but we have recently planted a stake firmly in the Empire State with increased PR work in Western Mass. and Connecticut, in addition to NY. Our newly launched life sciences practice is ready to take off as the industry signals it’s bouncing back from a challenging 2023.   Shaking Things Up On The Hill The IMG family was fully realized after the integration of Murphy Donoghue Partners and the addition of this cohort has been seamless. We continue to grow our lobbying book and now boast the 8th largest practice in Massachusetts. I am especially proud that our public affairs team is led by two female partners and a female Managing Director and is the lone entrant on that list with 50/50 gender parity among registered lobbyists.   Year three of IMG is already off to a strong start and even bigger things lay beyond the horizon. I greatly appreciate the trust and hard work that’s led us to this point, and now it’s time to go even further.
