Why are you writing a book? What is your why? It's important to tap into that and really understand your motivations and goals for writing a book. You could have lots of motivations for wanting to write a book. Maybe you want to build your legacy. Maybe you want to promote yourself or your company. You know, maybe you want to take your your business to new heights. Maybe you want to leave a legacy for your family and document your family's history. There's so many great reasons for wanting to write a book and so many ways that a book can take you to that next level to help power you. And help you accomplish your goals, whatever they may be. But as you embark on your book, I want you to really question it. I really want you to challenge it and understand it. Because as you write this book and move forward with this book and publish this book and promote this book, you're going to be connected to this project for years. And maybe that's something you want, but maybe it's something you don't want. And it's important to tap into that now. It's important to really understand your why and your purpose for this book at the very beginning of this process. I've worked with so many different people who thought they had a good reason for wanting to write a book. And the more that they worked on it and the more that they struggled with it, they lost faith. They just got discouraged. They they gave up. It really does matter to be able to understand your deeper purpose and to understand how your book fits within your larger goals.
