A wonderful evening at #DemoNight thanks to EnSpire Oxford Massive thanks to Camilla Rock for helping make the evening go so smoothly and doing such a fabulous job of talking creativity to strangers for 2 hours solid. And a huge shout to Sam Warburton 🫖 for the incredible Ars Creativitatis infographic which got its first public airing. I think more people took her business cards than ours! 😊 As always it's a joy to talk to people about creative thinking and see just how animated and excited people get. Some fascinating observations: - we really are different from most if not all of the other start-ups at events like this. In part this is because we are so rooted in Humanities. It's also because not only are our products physical - they are physical and "low tech" but "high aesthetic" - a lot of people who come to these events are clearly surprised to see a stand like ours. Some are confused and not sure how to gauge us. But many even of those often get really excited. - many of the people who see us as a bit different, weird even, clearly think that in a good "breath of fresh air" way. That's always encouraging. - people like to play. They forget themselves and chill and enjoy themselves when they do - this is valuable. And many more, when they start talking about creative thinking, realise that as they have grown up they have lost something - something we can help them recapture.
