Lattice structures are the basis on which an iso printing works. Since composites are unidirectional, which means they perfectly withstand load distribution along the fiber, it’s important to use lattices to get a maximum strength of the composites. Lattices consist of a set of one-dimensional ribs where the load is distributed always along the fiber. Efficient Printing Process for Bipolar Plates with XH4 MultiLane Bipolar plates are key components of solid oxide fuel cells. Printed pastes based on glass, glass-ceramics, or metals seal the layers and require precise printing parameters. Our XH4 MultiLane system with AutoHead automates this process, enhancing process reliability and increasing the lifespan of squeegees and screens. Multiple plates are processed in parallel, improving cycle time and cost efficiency. While one plate is being printed, the next ones are already being recognized and prepared. Ever wonder why you need strong support during metal 3D printing? During the printing process, the uneven rapid cooling of the printed layers induces a large amount of residual stress.
