@jermainedupri sends out a mass message saying he wants “the best” videographer “without” a job. Is this double speak? When people don’t post the price a lot of times the red flags go up. When a mega company puts out and advert this way it gives off a bad smell… With all your resources why would you go about it this way? I love JD. This might be taken out of context but is in the industry have been here done that. Linkedin has to do a search and define some terms. I have an alert for film director and art director jobs. What does Linkedin do? send me an uninterrupted flow of jobs as "director of personnel, "section director" "sales director" and similar useless leads. Is it "too freaking difficult" to define what we film/stage directors DO? We don't throw away the time in corporate meetings, that is for sure. Would like useful links, not corporate anythings.

“I left the job. Yes, I did. I felt lost, unsure of what to film, and no one was giving me clear instructions.” It's a story I've heard repeatedly. Last week, a friend told me he quit his job for similar reasons. “They expected me to come up with ideas that would magically bring in leads!” She said. Many B2B brands hire in-house videographers, but don’t provide clear guidance on what type of videos to make. It's important to establish a structured content approach that a talented videographer can follow. Start by defining your “content pillars” —the core messages that drive your brand and can grab attention with various video formats: → explainer videos → commercials → interviews, and more What tips have you given to help your in-house videographer? P.S. If you find this valuable, please share.

Huge realization from shooting video of the President of El Salvador: I could've vlogged this whole experience...but that would've been f*cking obnoxious. I don't want to turn my life into content I don't want to turn natural interactions into a subconscious performance for a camera It's a vibe killer, and a distraction Many of you might feel the same way. You don't want to live your life through a lens But you know video is the fastest way to grow your brand online This is why hiring a videographer is so helpful. You clear the mental real estate of needing to plan, setup, carry cameras etc. The interactions captured on film are so much more natural. You get better looking footage than if you self shot. You get WAY more content. And cmon lol it's way cooler to tell people "hey I have a shooter" vs. "hey im gonna vlog this whole thing". You're a celebrity!
