RISE with SAP and Clean Digital Core Journey @ Accenture Their scale poses unique challenges. They have grown exponentially, including expanding into more diverse businesses ($9B in acquisitions over three years), which increases system complexity and makes upgrades cost and resource intensive. Concurrently, the post-pandemic global economy continues to see slowing growth and elevated inflation, prompting Accenture, like so many large enterprises, to focus on cost reductions and workforce transformation. To tackle these challenges, they sought an improved approach to harness industry-standard solutions, enhance both quality and predictability, and adopt a consumption-oriented model, minimizing capital expenditure investments instead of ownership.
