Fun Fact Fridays - The Color Purple All I can say is Wow! I was able to see the movie musical "The Color Purple" and it gave same feelings as the original with Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey. I didn't get to see it on Broadway; however, I wish I had seen it. This musical adaptation really takes the movie and adds its own spin. You get the original story and the same moving beats from the first movie but from a different perspective. Sometimes these adaptations don't work. I believe this one did. It is important to keep true to the spirit of original works; however, it is also important to look at these works from different angles and vantage points. Get to the theater and see this movie. Theatre or kitchen ❓⬇️ Yesterday, I attended the great musical show “Les Dix Commandements,” and during the grand finale, something extraordinary happened. The final song began, but for about a minute, under the spotlight, no one appeared! This minute felt long enough to realize something wasn’t quite right. Then, it hit me: this was a homage to the original singer, Daniel Levi… And few tears came (yes I am emotional 🥹) Why am I sharing this? Because it’s a powerful reminder of how “spots” can trigger actions and evoke emotions, especially in theater 🎭. It’s all about focusing on those crucial moments to grasp the full scenario. 🌍🌱This experience resonates with me, especially considering our work at SpotLight Earth. Just like in the show, we need to focus on key areas to understand the bigger picture of #CCS and make impactful decisions. Another example on top of the fire alarm 🚨, don’t hesitate to tell me which one you prefer (or if you disagree with all) #TheaterLife #EmotionalImpact #SpotLightEarth #FocusAndAction #monitoring #MMV

Have you seen the musical "42 Balloons" ? I went to the theatre last Friday to see the musical "42 Balloons," based on a true story from 1982. The production was not only moving but also delivered a powerful message about the pursuit of goals. The story centres on a protagonist driven to achieve a daunting objective. Having achieved his goal, and with no other purpose than achievement he is left with the task of paying off a great loan, through interviews telling his tale. The essence lies in understanding why we chase these dreams; is it for personal fulfilment, benefiting loved ones, or impacting our community. Without a clear purpose, achieving a goal might leave us feeling empty. The musical prompts a reflection on our motivations and the deeper implications of our ambitions. Leaving the theatre, I found myself reassessing my own goals and their underlying reasons. "42 Balloons" is an excellent blend of entertainment and existential inquiry, ideal for those who seek thought-provoking content. What theatre shows have you seen which have inspired you? #inspiring #motivational #entertaining #personalgrowth

Stop filling your scripts with endless dialogue (unless you write soap opera). Film making is a visual medium. We like to watch what our characters do. Great dialogue or sound bites are important. Sound is 1:3 of your film! However, needless dialogue is your fastest ticket to bored-ville. Hearing your character say a great zinger to the bad guy, well that is fun and sometimes makes a great movie moment. But know what really gets an audience going? Watching our hero as something happens to them. We love watching others, so let the audience have a chance to watch your hero rather than listen to them too much. Besides, one well placed line is worth twenty.

Acting is my passion. It allows me to dive into emotions that can cause people to think and move them emotionally. That’s powerful stuff for me! My parents were a huge inspiration to me. They were both actors who met while auditioning for a Broadway play. My dad was in theater and my mom’s voice filled the airwaves with radio soap operas like Ma Perkins. What are your passions? Tell me in the comments below! #Taylormade #ActingPassion #ActingIsInMyBlood #Reflections #VoiceoverJourney #MedicalNarration #ExplainerVideo #eLearning #CorporateNarration #Voiceover

"Life's a soap opera, and we're all the stars—just remember, you're not an extra in someone else's drama!" We write our own scripts, cast our favourite characters, and choose our plot twists. Why settle for a walk-on role when you can be the lead? The path of least resistance is the way to go, carving out your unique journey. And those 'remotional vampires'? It's time for a plot twist—edit them out! After all, life's too short to be a side character in someone else's story. So, how do you keep your script uniquely yours? #MainCharacterEnergy #LifeScript #BeTheStar #StayAuthentic #PositiveVibes ##mensmentalhealth #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #menshealth #mentalhealthmatters #suicideprevention #love #breakthestigma www.happytohealthyou.com

"When we speak in musical metaphors it feels so loud. For me, the comparisons are front and center because of the time I've spent on the stage. Now it's my turn to coax my clients out on stage in front of the crowd (their audience, their team) and teach them how to work the microphone (their messaging, their vision) and how to stay cool under the lights (their strategic goals, their competition)." You can influence how someone feels the moment they step “into your theatre.” As a performer, I have always believed that “the show starts the moment they walk into the theatre.” Let me explain… Many performers think the show starts the moment they get on stage. But the reality is that the show begins the moment the audience arrives at the theatre. Their experience is influenced by every detail: How easy was it for them to park? Was it simple to get a drink? Was there engaging music playing as they found their seats? These seemingly small details can change how they feel, creating curiosity and interest before the performance even begins. Every moment before I walk on stage is an opportunity to shape their experience. How can you apply this? The moment someone enters your premises, you have an opportunity to influence their feelings.
