Non-profit is a tax status. Charity (Canada) is the ability to receipt, and a set of controls for any organization who qualifies. Philanthropy is an action, and can be to the previous two but doesn't have to be. Supporting is also an action, a wider definition, but may come with advantages to the supporter, or may not be a financial transaction. Getting recognition, having a chance to win something with a transaction, getting some item with with a transaction, being a volunteer, being an advocate. Business is what we are, but also what we are not. We seek to provide the most aid to the cause, but we also seek to do it in an ethical, sustainable way (until it is no longer needed!) Good is what we strive to achieve, but its definition may depend on who you are talking to.
