Digital ticketing is the target of many sports clubs, but won't it be outdated soon? I want to share some of my takeaways from the panel discussions at #TBF24. 1️⃣ Dynamic pricing could become a thing in the event sector as more and more organizers seek to capture full revenue potential and strengthen their fight against secondary markets. 💰 💡This should not come at the expense of genuine fans who might be replaced by the rich 2️⃣ Clubs and venues are pushing towards digital tickets but it comes with a catch 🔖 💡Franco Segarra interestingly pointed out that despite the convenience, their fans require a collectible element 3️⃣ Transfer to digital-only ticketing in 6 weeks time is what I call having balls 💥 💡Sunderland AFC is a great example that radical change can happen faster than you can imagine and sometimes it´s better to act than continuously hesitate 4️⃣ And one last quote by Shah-Zeib Ahmed which stuck with me 💭“Tradition keeps sports alive, innovation makes it thrive” And that´s the direction we want to take with TruCrowd. Keep the good, and make the rest better. We will slowly shift to the era of FaceTickets where even digital will seem outdated and boring. As Alex Grant said, people used to flex when paying 500 bucks with their watch, but paying with face will become the real deal. #ticketing #faceticket #sportbiz #digitalization
