🚪✨ Enhancing Accessibility and Safety at Grand Canal Plaza! We’re proud to have collaborated with MCA Architects and T&I Fitouts on the successful refurbishment and retrofit of a building in Grand Canal Plaza. From the initial design phase, our team worked closely with the project team to deliver modern, efficient, and accessible door automation solutions. Highlights of the project included: ✅ A fully automatic sliding door system for the main entrance, complete with full-height safety pocket screens, ensuring compliance with EN16005:2012. This upgrade replaced manual swing doors, providing safer and more reliable access for all users. ✅ Automated swing doors installed throughout office floors and accessible bathrooms, enhancing functionality and inclusivity. Modern production halls and office buildings are essential for the future viability of a company 🏢. However, you don’t need to compromise on the design 🎨. On the contrary: the new MTS B3 office building in Krivá illustrates that high-quality architecture and innovative construction methods can go hand in hand 🤝🚀. 🔥 Various REHAU systems were used for the newly-built house at the entrance to the small Orava village of Krivá, contributing significantly to the quality and efficiency of the building. The underfloor heating with the Varionova knob-studded panel system and RAUTHERM-S pipes ensures an excellent heat distribution and increases the comfort. In addition, an industrial panel heating system was integrated, which is specially optimized for large halls and consequently ensures a constant heat distribution. ❄️ In addition to this, our innovative ceiling cooling system using the dry construction method not only contributes to cooling, but also integrates seamlessly into the modern design of the building. #rendertoreality – A contemporary glass box floats above two monumental warehouses. Tropical Fruit Warehouse is a new icon on Dublin’s River Liffey Quay. A distinctive contrast between old and new, meeting one of the highest sustainability credentials. Above the old restored warehouse cantilevers a modern two-storey high building volume with a unique and incredibly transparent, uninterrupted, full glass double skin façade. Octatube designed & built this façade with 8.5 m high glass panels, supporting glass fins that suspend from a glass roof, and fully glazed corners. The façade maximises natural daylight and natural ventilation. This contributes to the comfort of the office space. The building is one of the first refurbished projects that is completed to the new Nearly Zero Energy Building standards in Ireland. It also meets the highest LEED Platinum standards. The high performance of the façade has the added benefit of reducing the need for MEP installations for heating, cooling, artificial lighting and ventilation in the office and thus reducing emissions during operation.
