In this chapter of the Diary of a MetricStreamer, we delve into the world of puzzles and precision. Let's meet Anirudh Sureshram our very own Rubik's Cube mastermind who has not only conquered the iconic Rubik's Cube but also delved into the challenge of blindfolded solving! "The journey of solving Rubik's cubes began for me in 9th grade, sparked by a chance encounter with a neighbor during summer vacation. What began as a simple hobby has turned out to be an amazing journey. Venturing into official Rubik's Cube competitions in 2014, I found myself searching for the perfect event to specialize in. In 2018, after putting it off for the longest time, I decided to learn how to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded. It took me a long time to learn and get my first successful solve but it was worth it.   As my dedication grew, I started traveling to various cities for competitions and practiced for nearly 6-8 hours a day. I slowly kept getting better, breaking personal records, and winning competitions. This motivated me to then start learning other sub-events in blindfolded category (solving a 4x4 Rubik's cube blindfolded, solving multiple Rubik's cubes blindfolded, etc.). During this period, I hit my goal of solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded in under 1 minute. This was one of the biggest barriers I had overcome in the entire journey of blindfold-solving. Never had I ever imagined achieving this feat as fast as I did.   The pinnacle of my cubing journey arrived in 2019. I attempted to memorize and execute 13 cubes blindfolded in a single attempt, and successfully solved 11/13, earning me a prestigious National Rank of 7. This accomplishment stands as a testament to the dedication and perseverance that have defined my cubing career thus far.
