BSocSc | Australian award winning people leader driven by creating inclusive workplaces at Ventia where people can be a true and authentic version of themselves | #TeamVentia | Awabakal Country |

Looking forward to being a part of this Awareness training on Thursday in Melbourne with the great Daniel Shields! Did you know? Up to 1 in 5 people worldwide are neurodivergent which includes ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. You may be surprised to find out that many famous minds who have shaped our culture and history were/are in fact neurodivergent and include people like Albert Einstein, Leonel Messi, Charles Darwin, Bill Gates and Richard Branson Yet, their talent is often under-utilized and misunderstood. In Australia around 35% of people who are neurodivergent are unemployed compared to 4% of the general population. Neurodivergence is a unique way of perceiving and interacting with the world - And by not having an inclusive, neurodiversity-friendly workplace you could be inhibiting neurodiverse staff from thriving. You probably wouldn’t want to prevent people with minds like Einstein and Darwin from joining our business? Looking forward to seeing everyone there and welcoming this as a new thought on how together we can redefine service excellence by simply creating places where people can be themselves.

Strategic Sourcing Specialist & Inclusive Recruitment at Ventia

Australian Spatial Analytics (ASA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to training and employing talented young neurodivergent spatial analysts, harnessing their exceptional skills in data analytics. Our collaboration with ASA began in 2021 on telecommunications projects and has since expanded across various sectors within Ventia. As part of our ongoing partnership, ASA provided Neurodiversity Awareness training to our team at Ventia, enhancing our understanding and support for diversity in digital transformation. Currently, we are working towards transitioning ASA staff to become direct employees of Ventia, providing them with opportunities to experience a new working environment beyond ASA. #Ventia #AustralianSpatialAnalytics #DiversityandInclusion #Neurodiversity #Collaboration #DigitalTransformation Emma Shaw Daniel Shields Seath Holswich Lizette Bull Jesse Ross Jodie Blake Loes Westerbeek-Veld
