🌟True story alert 🌟 ➡️In 1998, I never thought my 58 year old mother-in-law in would be diagnosed with ALS. I also never thought that my wife Amy Rupertus Peacock would have to quit her amazing job in business development to help administer & provide direct care for her mother. Between Amy & her two sisters, they began to patch together a ‘care team’ to help her with her quickly diminishing capacities. This was the first & very best lesson in learning as an advisor some 20+ years ago that there is both an emotional and financial toll that caring for a loved one can have on ALL in family. Fortunately, my mother in law, at the age of 53, had purchased a tax qualified long term care policy. When her claim was approved, the money the policy would reimburse her to pay her caregivers. Her LTC policy was invaluable & allowed her to stay in her condo, & to maintain what little independence she had remaining as ALS paralyzed her use of all of her muscles and her voice. This single financial purchase, may have been one of the smartest decisions she ever made. Have you thought about the impact of how much it would cost you if you had a long-term care event? Giving thought to it it is more important than you might think! 🏥 In the end, addressing the financial risks of need care when someday is about the following: 🔹 Preserve Your Wealth 🔹 Ensure Peace of Mind 🔹 Protect Your Legacy I’ve created a short video called: Why Long-Term Care Matters ( 2.11 sec video) 🌟 Check it out. Hope to be a resource to you or a loved one. #LongTermCare #FinancialPlanning #WealthManagement #FutureProof #PeaceOfMind #LTCPlanning #ProtectYourFuture #LongTermCare #FinancialPlanning #WealthManagement #FutureProof #PeaceOfMind #LTCPlanning

I know long term care is a phrase we either dread or ignore. This topic may or may not be on your mind currently, but it certainly is one that needs to be considered no matter where you are in life. I'm sure you have either experienced in some way or have seen what happens to families who aren't ready for the long term care expenses. I would like to extend an invitation to join me for an upcoming extended planning workshop that will be held this Thursday the 16th of May at 7:00 pm. This seminar simply starts the conversation and allows you to plan for either yourself or close loved ones. Although long term care is discussed, the focus will be more about developing and executing a plan. Forty-five minutes of your time is all you need. Please email me to register and I will take care of everything from there.
