(Just see how Spotify approach things ) Here’s the reality: • Remote work boosts productivity. (Yes, there’s data to prove it.) • It widens the talent pool. You’re not hiring the best person nearby, you’re hiring the best person period. • And employees? They’re happier when they don’t have to commute, wear stiff suits, or endure pointless meetings. So why are so many businesses still clinging to the old ways? Fear. Plain and simple. But here’s the kicker: The companies that resist remote work today? I was confident following the pandemic that hybrid schedules would be the new norm, however it seems as though more and more companies are reverting back to five days in the office. I’m very interested to see how this unfolds. It’s no secret most people want the flexibility of a hybrid schedule. Will it be successful, resulting in most companies going back to five days in the office? Or will those making this change ultimately fall back to a hybrid schedule due to an inability to acquire and retain talent? Time will tell…

Now, like a dad of 2 great children, I don’t want they spend time on screens, so this takes me think about the rise of remote work has redefined how we balance our lives. It’s a revolution in flexibility—a chance to work from anywhere, spend more time with family, and embrace a lifestyle we once dreamed of. Companies save on infrastructure, and employees save hours of commuting. On paper, it sounds like perfection. But beneath the surface of this freedom lies a quieter story. The lines between work and personal life blur. The absence of in-person collaboration chips away at the bonds that build trust and spark innovation. Leadership feels distant, and something essential is lost in the convenience: the human connection that turns teams into families and offices into communities. Remote work challenges us to rethink how we communicate, collaborate, and connect. It’s both an incredible gift and a complex responsibility. Finding Balance: remote work is the lifeline for modern families. Working remotely has been nothing short of transformative, it has completely changed my life. I no longer feel like I’m living in a constant race against the clock. It brought balance to my life and also empowered me to give my absolute best to both my career and my family. Before this change, my days felt like a series of sprints; getting the kids ready and out the door, navigating traffic to make it to work on time, rushing to finish work on time so I can beat the traffic again for daycare pickup, and hurrying home to prepare dinner before evening activities. The stress of always being rushed left little room for creativity or enjoyment of the moments that mattered most. Now, with the flexibility of remote work, everything has shifted. I can —> • Start my day with focus, seamlessly transitioning into work without the chaos of a commute. • Control over schedule and fewer interruptions. • Save money on meals, attire and transportation (do I even need a car?). • Enjoy healthier meals, and sometime cook the dinner meal during lunch breaks, reducing evening stress. This balance has made me not just more productive, but more innovative and effective at work. With the mental space to approach challenges with creativity and confidence. Remote work isn’t just a convenience it’s a game changer for a young family like mine, allowing me to thrive both personally and professionally. I once said — enough is enough... I was done sitting in front of a computer for 9 hours a day in a musty office with 20 other people. I wanted freedom — the ability to organize my schedule independently and have more time for my family. Back then, I promised myself that if I ever had a business, it would operate on my terms: remote, flexible, and focused on work-life balance. Fast forward 10 years, I’ve built three successful businesses and now manage hundreds of people — fully remote. Every Thursday, we host team lunch talks to discuss many different topics. 🟣 Provide the Right Tools A remote team needs the right tech to succeed. We use ClickUp, Teams, Toolza and several other tools daily to keep things running smoothly. 🟣 Compensate for Workplace Setups The pandemic taught us the importance of a proper home office. That’s why we introduced compensation for workplace improvements — it directly impacts the well-being and productivity of our employees. I firmly believe fully remote work is the future.
