Nonprofits are facing a personnel crisis from top to bottom. CEOs at museums, social-service groups, and all kinds of nonprofits are stepping down, and boards are struggling to fill the vacancies with qualified candidates. Meanwhile, for-profit companies are luring direct-service staff away from the nonprofit grind with promises of better pay and working conditions. It's a difficult situation compounded by limited budgets and a feast-or-famine mentality that hinders staff retention. Hoping we can find a way to address these challenges and continue their important work. #nonprofits #personnelcrisis #staffretention

Nearly half of nonprofits said staffing was their top challenge last year. Hiring, turnover, burnout — it's a troubling trifecta. Nonprofit leaders themselves are also part of the turnover trend. What’s more, most organizations have open roles — 52% surveyed in a report from the National Council of Nonprofits said they have more vacancies than pre-pandemic. Nonprofits are also having trouble recruiting skilled finance staff. At Han Group, we understand these challenges because we are dedicated to working exclusively with nonprofits. Let us be your reliable partner as your nonprofit navigates a changing landscape. https://lnkd.in/eDnVQPnt #nonprofit #hiring #burnout #accounting

Working in the nonprofit sector in 2024 is not easy. Nonprofit organizations have greater pressures than ever before both internally and externally. Employee expectations are changing, and institutional loyalty is waning. Employees are looking for personal benefits wherever they can find the best solution, whether that is within the nonprofit where they work, another nonprofit that is perceived to be a better fit or in the private sector. https://lnkd.in/gWENuqDb
