It's a few years old now, but this is a Greggs TV ad I was food stylist for. It was captured in various locales around Newcastle, including homes, shops, parks, and even bus shelters. It was the first time I worked with this crew, and as expected, they were all outstanding. A top-notch team from actors to directors, runners to wardrobe and everyone in-between. So you've seen the sponsor ads, now it's time for the main event. This was the 30 second commercial created for Florette. Although this was released last year, the memories of preparing all those meals on a makeshift table in a narrow hallway using a portable stove and countertop oven are still fresh . It's not all glamorous, but needs must when we were filming in the kitchen. The last sting (TV Sponser) of this set and possibly one of my favourite recipes. Finally getting the chance to review some of my previous work from last year is truly satisfying. I had missed out on this when it was first released. These projects were a result of a collaborative effort with the amazing team at Re:Production and were commissioned by Florette for creating some idents on the food network. The experience of working on these projects was truly enjoyable, thanks to the exceptional team involved. While the final recipes were not a requirement, I put together the ultimate salad dishes based on their brief. Try them this week, tinker with them, put your spin on them and create your own version, but please, please, please leave a rating - it really would mean the world to me. Seeing my name along side some serious heavy hitters when it comes to cooking is a real honour and something I couldn’t have imagined ever happening.
