The appointment of Muhammad Yunus as head of the interim government of Bangladesh is a sign of hope. He is an incredibly inspiring leader, committed to changing the situation of the most vulnerable with strong vision and values. It is a privilege to have met and collaborated with him. Over the years, many of us at Danone have worked side by side with Professor Yunus, and have witnessed first-hand his commitment. I wish him every success in the role he has been given.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus as the leader of a caretaker government in Bangladesh could be a transformative opportunity for the nation. His international reputation as a Nobel Laureate and his commitment to social justice make him an exceptional figure to guide the country through such a critical period. The challenges Bangladesh faces are vast—deep-rooted corruption, political instability, economic disparities, and threats to democratic principles. We believe that Dr. Muhammad Yunus will bring about crucial changes and establish a visionary path for Bangladesh.
Antoine, I can only confirm your sayings… During my career, i never met and worked with a such inspiring leader able to keep the direction, the serenity and the passion for his belief even in the worst situations he had to face… A real opportunity for making Bangladesh and its people growing…
As the 14th ranked nation for primary agricultural produce, the global food supply chain cannot afford to have protracted instability and unrest in Bangladesh. Wishing H.E all the best as the interim head of government.
He is definitely a great leader but let us not forget the history and what happened in neighbouring country: Myanmar. The leader was also a Nobel Price recipient but the country had plenty of human rights issues with the Rohinga. Coming to power and action it is the most difficult responsibility. Once again All the best to him to bring this great country on the place it should be!
The grand father of microfinancing. This is an opportunity for him and his country. Just like 1974 with the story of the 42 women with $27, he has a rare privilege to rewrite the history of Bangladesh. I wish him all the very best.
I couldn’t agree more! I had the chance to meet him during my time at Danone and his interventions couldn’t have been more inspiring and thought-provoking. Let’s indeed wish him all the best in his new role 👏🏻
I had the opportunity to be at a conference of Mr Yunus in a Danone event some years ago about micro-credit. Great sign of hope indeed.

As a first Bangladeshi employee at Danone Global Research, I am really proud of him and his achievements! Truly a great leader!
Definitely the start of a new chapter for Bangladesh with lot of hope for this beautiful country.
