The traditional clinical research site is the most stable career organization in the industry right now. Here is how to land a job at these places quickly
Right now is the best time it's ever been to work at a research site. The clinical research coordinator jobs are the most stable. The problem with a lot of people is you have decent background education wise or even clinical wise, but no clinical research experience. So what do you do? You find local sites in your area, the smaller the better. You stalk their websites, maybe 10 of them. You figure out what studies they're doing, you make Flyers. To recruit patients for their studies, you walk in to those sites, you show them those Flyers, you tell them you can do patient recruitment for them for free as long as you can shadow to gain some experience. And within a month or three, if they like you, they can hire you. That is guaranteed to work 100 times better than whatever it is that you're doing.

- Jeff Bezos famously leveraged low profit margins as a strategic edge, transforming them into a market advantage.
- The consolidation of site networks, like what we're seeing with CROs, is influenced by these take rate dynamics.
As businesses navigate this landscape, understanding take rates is crucial for gaining a competitive advantage. How do you think take rates impact your industry, and have you used them to your advantage? Share your thoughts and experiences and watch the FULL episode below!
