This is a Catalysis patent pending 3D printed seat foam part manufacturing tool for a seat cushion. The tool was printed in 3 hours, is fully temperature controlled, half the cost of a traditional aluminum billet machine tool and is capable of forming 1000s of parts. The tool was completed in 3 weeks manufacturing time, at a significant cost reduction for the customer and will be used for mass production parts! These are 3D printed thermoforming tools for truck fender flares. We completely designed the tool, as well as printed and coated the tools. The customer decided to do the finishing and assembly, reducing tooling cost by using in house resources for tool completion.
