In the past few year, the business landscape in Iraq, particularly in the FMCG sector, has undergone significant changes. One major issue I've observed is the prevalence of low-quality packaging, or more specifically, inappropriate packaging. When we talk about packaging, it’s not just about the appearance but also about its critical role in preserving the quality and value of the product. A primary reason for this packaging issue is that most of it is outsourced. Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn't packaging for local products be managed locally to ensure it meets quality standards? By doing so, we can maintain better control over the packaging process, ensuring it effectively protects the product and enhances its value in the eyes of consumers. That's why I believe that the focus on packaging should be on par with the focus on product development.
