The values of a nation! A powerful concept for business. It will be great to see how many kiwi businesses adopt these shared values, authentically! 🔑🟤

Some inspiring words to start the morning, and it's so true. I think a lot of people and companies are experiencing crossroads currently in South Africa. There's a drastic shift in mindset and actions that needs to happen in order to adapt, grow, and thrive as South Africans. I don't think we can procrastinate the shift anymore.
The thing that resonates with me the most in this statement;'choose to step into the discomfort of growth, which ultimately is the only path to greatness' is the word 'only' because the hard truth is, the only way to thrive on the other side of change is to deal with the discomfort of going through the change.
I'm a creative and relate most of my personal pain points in pictures. For me, struggle has always been represented as a rollercoaster. At the beginning, you're just there hanging on the edge, anticipating the discomfort of the journey, regretting your life choices, and like most things that you're not in control of, the rollercoaster starts, and you get dropped into this journey of uncomfortable twists and turns.
BUT as it goes, the rollercoaster ride eventually comes to an end, and as you pull up to park, there's always that overwhelming feeling of calm and peace because you know you somehow pulled yourself together and got through it. You always feel soooooo much better after a rollercoaster ride, right? You might be a bit shaken up, but you're smiling and you're thriving.
Hold onto this the next time you go through an uncomfortable but inevitable shift in your life or your company. Like Pepe says, there's greatness at the end of discomfort.

Having just returned from a month long stint through Europe, including two weeks in London and a week in Cannes, I am clear on the way forward:
We are a very, very good local, market leading advertising agency. A regional player of note.
And I am immensely proud of what we have achieved to date, and grateful to all of our people, our clients, and our suppliers, who have been on this journey with us to date.
But we find ourselves at a crossroads:
We can choose to remain as we are, which will ask of us to do the same thing as we did the previous years.
Or we can choose to step into the discomfort of growth, which ultimately is the only path to greatness.
And move our ambition from regional player to international player.
But as with everything in life, intention will only take us 1% of the way.
The remaining 99% will depend on our actions.
Because we can't represent our country and our continent on the global stage without every single player being aligned to our purpose, values and vision, each actively stepping onto the field, and playing this game of advertising with the same passion and flair as that of our national Springbok Team.
This is going to be a big ask of our people. But in the end, we know why we do what we do.
And when you serve the growth of your people, your clients, and your country,
you ignore the naysayers, and do what the Afrikaners say: Kyk Noord...
And in doing so, we may just become a shining example to the world.

The penultimate Friday before the Go Live of AGORA.
The spotlight is on those unsung heroes who have had to overcome a lot of challenges locally to ensure the project stays on track.
Jiri Pernica - (with much-needed support from Tomasz Kukula) has coordinated his own set of champions across all of CEE. 9 countries, their requirements, testing, user access management, 9 different IT departments, local regulations etc. Honestly, the guy needs a medal.
Next we have Javier Abellán & Alberto Rojo Moro who are the champions for Med & Latam, so not just coordinating 5 countries, but also multiple different time zones! Again, 5 different local IT departments, a massive undertaking!
Finally Michael Shum and Tom Wong who have been working tirelessly in Hong Kong and Thailand, staying late, getting up early just to remain part of the team. This is where we see the benefit of virtual working!
Managing one country is complex enough, but when you manage a region with so many moving parts - to stay positive, resolute and focused is a must! These guys are heroes!
Wait for more spotlights on our other countries next week!

#meetourteam 🎉 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞! 🎉
We are excited to introduce another stellar member of the IBT International Brands Trading team. Everyone, meet Aleksander Kołczanow! 💁♂️
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛? 🚀
In my work at IBT, I appreciate that every day is not the same and all the time we have new challenges, problems to solve, and new interesting projects.
It never makes me bored and allows me to generate new ideas and create new things.
As a Logistics and Operations Manager, every day I enjoy the collaborative work environment with my talented and supportive colleagues and external providers from all over the world. All together every day we are achieving the common goals.
I get the most incredible satisfaction when I see the results of my efforts and how they impact company goals and clients' satisfaction.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐲?📎
I can’t choose a specific project, because every project is significant to me and I take care of every detail to execute it efficiently. The work on projects is very accurate because the company's further development depends on it. The projects I'm most proud of are every big stand project for grocery chains like Biedronka or Lidl, where we had to plan all Logistics and Operations activities then in the final step dispatch more than 3,000 stands all over Poland and satisfy our customers with sweets of high quality and taste.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲? 🖊️
Work-life balance is a crucial driver for me. I like to spend time with my friends and family. I travel a lot across Europe, especially across Italy getting to know this country, culture, language, and people.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬?
In the future, I would like to develop myself still in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The logistics industry is constantly developing, new technologies appear and as a successful manager, I try to enrich my knowledge with new trends.
Make sure to follow our page for updates. Whether you’re a potential client, a job seeker, or just curious about who we are, we hope these introductions give you a better understanding of the amazing team driving 𝐈𝐁𝐓 forward.

Check this out to see how my business, Savvy Company, has recently been leveraging local partnerships.
To any business owners currently debating whether or not to work with local content creators: it's 100% worth trying out!
One of our biggest values at Savvy Company is supporting local makers - and yes, this extends to local content creators! 📸
We love harnessing the power of local partnerships to get people excited about finding new REALLY good Canadian products. 🇨🇦
For our Cheers Ontario! event in April we enlisted some amazing talent such as @TheOttawaInsider (Alexandra Laham) and were SO impressed by the growth they helped us achieve. 📈
None of this would be possible without Partnr Media, who manages these partnerships and ensures everything is executed seamlessly. 👩💻
Cheers to sharing the REALLY good stuff with the world! 🥂

We’ve got… the experience. Later this year, we will celebrate our 25th anniversary alongside two of the original staff members—Angela Paul and Colin Pascoe—who are still enthusiastically and expertly engaged in every aspect of our operations.
Both of these industry icons have experience that predates the launch of Monitor New Zealand, with both working together within the Answer Scan business and boasting over 30 years involvement in the New Zealand monitoring industry.
Over that time these two have seen a massive amount of change, but one thing has remained unchanged—consistent customer service is key.
Monitor New Zealand is the responsive and diligent business you see today due to the collective experience and knowledge of these two people.
As Albert Einstein said: “Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience, and you need experience to gain wisdom”.
If you did not know, Moving Bits: ideas inspiring action is a member of Tribe Global, an independent network of creative, media, and PR agencies worldwide. The brainchild of Ian Wright (a very clever, affable Scotsman and a dear friend), Tribe Global exists to provide clients with an alternative to the big network agencies.
Anyway, in about three weeks or so, they will be hosting their first meeting in Singapore, and Ian has kindly asked me to speak at it. Of course, I said, " Yes!" Better still, one of my dearest friends, Mr. (M)Ad Man himself, the highly decorated Ted Lim, will be in attendance, making his presentation on "The Power of Creativity." If you want to learn how to be creative, Ted is the man to learn it from. I have learned so much just by being in proximity and hanging out with him. He is an amazing guy who needs no introduction.
What am I speaking about?
The difference between pitching in the West and here in the East. Because Moving Bits: ideas inspiring action has a US marketing office (courtesy of Enterprise Singapore), I've had the good fortune of selling ideas in both parts of the world and learned the hard way that East & West require very different approaches.
If this interests you and you would like to hear about my experience pitching East & West, you can go here: https://lnkd.in/gKTyR55c to learn more about the event and the speakers and purchase tickets.
I hope to see you there.
