The trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 and the U.S. 🇺🇸 continue to intensify. In the first four months of 2024, the country's exports to the U.S. reached 69.4 mln USD, marking a 30% increase and putting the country among our top 10 export destinations. Overall bilateral trade grew by 31% to $257 million.

Uzbekistan's Top Trade Partners for 2024: China and Russia Lead China and Russia have emerged as Uzbekistan’s leading trade partners in 2024, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency. China tops the list with a trade turnover of $9 billion, followed by Russia at $8.7 billion. Kazakhstan ranks third with $3 billion, while Turkey and South Korea contribute $2.2 billion and $1.5 billion, respectively. Other notable trade partners include Turkmenistan ($868 million), France ($859 million), Germany ($857 million), Afghanistan ($762 million), and the United States ($672 million). Uzbekistan and Türkiye Set Sights on $5 Billion Trade Boost 🇺🇿🇹🇷 Uzbekistan and Türkiye aim to boost their trade volume to $5 billion as part of a new agreement to expand products traded under the Preferential Trade Agreement. To support this, Uzbekistan will open a trade representative office in Istanbul. The agreement was made during a meeting between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye in Ankara. They also established the Uzbekistan-Türkiye Business Council, chaired by the two presidents. The leaders discussed expanding cooperation in agriculture, water management, digitization, security, and defense.
