DO YOU UNDERSTAND TODAY’S TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGES? Attending the Trace3 Evolve Conference in Las Vegas was an opportunity for me to learn more about these real challenges. As a speaker, I have the honor of attending many conferences. This was perhaps one of the most organized and well produced events I have attended in a while. Every detail was thought of. Kudos to the whole marketing team! Here’s a deeper dive into my experience: 🎤 Illuminating Orators: The conference included phenomenal speakers including “Sully” and James Cleary. Their profound insights on leadership and innovation were enlightening and provided a fresh perspective on navigating the tech cosmos. 🤝Synergistic Networking: Engaging with trailblazers from tech titans such as Cisco, NetApp, Trace3, ReliaQuest, Dell, and Microsoft was a highlight. These interactions were not only inspiring but also offered a glimpse into the future of technology and innovation. 🌟 Mission Amplification: Sharing my "Rise Through It™️" mission with these tech leaders was profoundly meaningful. The tech industry is facing seismic disruption, and many are experiencing AI anxiety. My RISE process™️ is designed to tackle these challenges head-on, empowering individuals to embrace change and lead with valor. 💡 Key Takeaways for me: The conference reinforced the importance of adaptability and resilience in the face of technological advancements. I just returned from attending the Industry Strategy Meeting of the World Economic Forum in NYC with strategy officers from across the world, and several leading academics and government officials. The sessions were great, the side-bar discussions even more enriching. Thanks to the entire WEF team esp Bart Valkhof Jonathan Bahmani Francisco Betti Filipe Beato the great sessions - particularly on ICT topics! And it was really great to meet many remarkable people and renew prior friendships - Eugenio Cassiano Mikael Bäck Harrison Lung Marina Martín García Sean Morton Ganesha Rasiah Merel Witteveen Leslie Donato Murray Aitken Matt McKee Jack Hidary I had the privilege of being a panelist for The Great Disruptor: AI's Impact on Business session with Dr. Athina Kanioura, Prafull Sharma, Merel Witteveen facilitated by Behnam Tabrizi. Of the subsequent discussion I facilitated with ~20 CSOs during the session, 90% were trialing GenAI and half moving to productization - similar to trends that many are observing. Our (#DellTechnologies) views on GenAI that I shared on the panel - it's all about the data; it's far more efficient, effective and secure to bring AI to the data rather than data to AI (esp when vast majority sits on the edge including PCs); there is no one-size-fits-all and there will be a range of models; TCO for inferencing much better on-prem https://lnkd.in/gTAc3g5t - really resonated with those I spoke with afterwards. Here are the highlights: 🌟 Dell Tech World🌟 - Launched Andie, Dell’s digital human, captivating attendees with a lifesize hologram 👋 - Showcased Emma, enhancing public information access in Amarillo 🏛 - Previewed our digital human with Dell’s Student Tech Crew for job interview prep 🎓 🌟 Gartner CSO Conference🌟 Introduced a new digital human solution for sales training, providing real-time feedback and skill refinement. Dell Technologies World 2024: A Nexus of Innovation, Collaboration, and Insight With yet another Dell Tech World in teh books, I'm left with a profound sense of inspiration and anticipation for the future. This event was more than a conference; it was a vibrant hub of innovation, a place where technology met human ingenuity, and a forum for forging new paths through collaboration. The expo floor was alive with the latest technological advancements, but it was the human connections that truly defined the experience. Engaging with partners and industry peers, I was reminded of the power of collective ambition. These interactions, from impromptu meetings to structured sessions, have provided a foundation for future collaborations. The standout moment for me was the Luminary Brunch with Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, where we explored the portrayal of AI in cinema. His insights provided a unique lens through which to view our work and its impact on society.
