Charity Football Match To rally around those affected and provide much-needed assistance, we are organising a charity football tournament, at Marine Football Club on the 17th August 2024. This event will bring together teams from across the region in a show of unity and support. Football is more than just a game; it's a symbol of teamwork, resilience, and community spirit – exactly what Southport needs right now. Every donation made to this page will go directly to the victims and survivors of the Southport mass stabbing. How You Can Help: Donate: No amount is too small. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal of helping those in need. Play: You can enter a team into the tournament at just £10 per player (minimum 7, maximum 10). Do you make gift aid charitable donations and pay higher rates of tax? If so, it is worth remembering that any donations made before 5 April will see you receive the benefit much sooner than ones made just after. Building strong foundations. Being registered with the "funding regulators" is a step in the right direction as we aim to align with national pathways in society, so we can better meet their needs and serve the communities we work with. That said, we have a comprehensive set of policies in place, which allows others to collaborate with us more easily. This is very important, especially since we have limited resources. Having partnerships, collaborations, and grant funding enables all organizations to leverage these arrangements. 2024 Golden Giveaway – NOW OPEN! We have a massive £25,000 to be divided between 20 worthy Teesside charities, not-for-profit organisations, sports clubs, community groups and schools. We need you to apply and tell us all about how amazing your group is, what your next project is and how the funding will have an impact. It really is a simple process but with a huge reward. A panel of our Patrons will select 20 worthy groups from across the region, each of whom will receive at least £500. However, there’s the potential for them to win up to £5,000 as each good cause is featured on our website and the public are asked to vote for the one they believe most deserves the biggest share of the money. Topping the vote will bring in £5,000, second place scoops £2,500, third will receive £2,000 and fourth place receive £1,750 while the remainder will walk away with either £1,500, £1,000, £750 or £500.
