Regardless of what some think about where the Energy market is heading, there are going to be massive opportunities for engineers. The whole world, not just the UK, have very ambitious plans for energy transformation. You might think they are too ambitions, regardless, this means more jobs and more growth which is a good thing for everyone. At the heart of it is the engineering workforce. LinkedIn is full of critics and it is ok to be sceptical and have a different opinion about something. But the truth is that there are more opportunities for engineers in construction, even if the goals seem unrealistic to some. Consuming endless content on LinkedIn can be very damaging for your focus on your career goals, so observe consciously and know that it is all opinions, not necessarily facts.
