🇨🇳 China militia presence increases in South China Sea, report says The number of Chinese maritime militia vessels around key features across the South China Sea grew by 35% in 2023 as Beijing continued to bolster its presence, according to data by the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative. A report based on satellite imagery of nine features in the sea, including reefs and shoals, identified an average of 195 militia ships present on any given day. The increase from a year earlier was accompanied by “a dramatic shift” in vessels to Mischief Reef in the summer of 2023 when more than 180 boats were observed gathered there from July. The reef is also claimed by the Philippines and Vietnam. “The reason for this increase, an anomaly compared to the previous year’s peak of only 37 vessels at Mischief, is unclear,” the report says #China

It demonstrated how truly effective unity in defending against terror can be when it is based on sufficient political will. Israel, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Jordan acted together and with maximum efficiency. Together, they prevented terror from prevailing. And they are working together, and in coordination with others, to prevent further escalation. Israel is not a NATO member, so no action, such as triggering Article 5, was required. And no one was dragged into the war. They simply contributed to the protection of human life. "Shaheds" in the skies above Ukraine sound identical to those over the Middle East. The impact of ballistic missiles, if they are not intercepted, is the same everywhere. European skies could have received the same level of protection long ago if Ukraine had received similar full support from its partners in intercepting drones and missiles. Terror must be defeated completely and everywhere, not more in some places and less in others. I thank everyone in the world, every leader and state, who truly assists us with air defense and missiles necessary to protect our skies, as well as training our pilots on F-16s. All of this already works and will continue to work to save lives. However, we can now see how unity can work truly a hundred percent, and how almost a hundred percent of “Shaheds” and missiles can be intercepted. We will discuss it with our partners. CIA Operation SHADED was submitted on 12 March 1953 and approved by CIA Headquarters on 18 March 1953. The basic plan and policy for Operation SHADED were to infiltrate a two-man reconnaissance team into Romania in the neighboring area of Turnu-Severin. The infiltration and exfiltration to and from the target area were to be accomplished via an overland route. The agent team was to remain in the target area for approximately three weeks.   Operation SHADED was planned as a short-range reconnaissance operation. The operation's main objective was to test the infiltration and exfiltration routes into the target area, established in coordination with Yugoslavia to exploit these channels for future missions.

Terrorism in Africa is created, NGOs inserted in communities to amplify grievances, then get criminals to launch an attack, then Western media run articles of the threat of terrorism. Often the idea is to push a narrative to either discourage investors in regions rich with minerals or to push the targeted country into debt. It takes strategic thinking to see through hostile foreign influence operations; these groups come with offers of security pacts and development aid, in a few months or weeks of their footprint, a peaceful region collapses. International agencies exaggerate risks so as to justify the presence of their military bases, which also serve as snuggling pipelines. Burkina Faso is showing Africa leadership, throwing the West out of the Sahel was the best and the only practical thing for the leadership of the region. The Sahel are no longer victims, terrorist groups have no where to run, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger have rejected equipment with trackers that were used by terrorists to evade security forces. Equipment from friendly, reliable nations such as Russia, Iran, North Korea, China, Turkey, Egypt and the Gulf countries has boosted the war on terrorism. Indeed the Sahel has decolonised. Decolonisation typically refers to the withdrawal of political, military and governmental rule of a colonised land by its invaders. What we're witnessing in the Middle East is the single greatest counter-terrorism campaign in history - and it's not even close. Indeed, in the last several months, Israel has eliminated more terrorists on the U.S. most-wanted list than the U.S. has managed to neutralize in the last 20+ years. Fuad Shukr, Ibrahim Aqil, Ali Hussein Burji, Ali Ahmad Hassin, Wissam Hassan al-Tawil, Hassan Nasrallah, Ali Qansu, Mahmoud Mukhaymar, Abu Hamza al-Masri, and Mohammad Abu Shamala have all been killed. In addition, Israel has eliminated extremely high-level terrorists such as Mohammed Deif, Ismail Haniyeh, Mohammad Reza Zahedi, and most recently, Zahi Yaser Abd al-Razeq Oufi in Tulkarem, as well as Hashem Safieddine in Lebanon, possibly along with Hezbollah's entire Shura Council. This isn't just Israel regaining its deterrence and degrading the capabilities of its adversaries - it's Israel flipping the script and charting an entirely new path for Jerusalem and the Middle East. In the coming years, the world will likely be able to look back and point to these last few weeks and months as the beginning of a new age for the region - and possibly the world. Thank you, Israel.

Paris Olympics 2024 #Olympic games have long been hailed as a beacon of Global Cooperation and Peace. This time is different though, There is a gruesome shadow of two #wars over the games. Many nations like #Armenia and #Azerbaijan are having tensions at borders. Super powers are divided and at crossroads with each other. #France, along with half of #Europe is engulfed with #protests at home. And there is looming threat of #terrorism now. This, however is not the first time that #Olympics have been made to mirror the geopolitical friction. It has a long history from Berlin Nazi Olympics in 1936 to Cold War era and most recently winter Olympics at #Beijing What sets #ParisOlympics apart is the sheer variety and intensity of problems, it is likely to witness, all at once!
