The main thing I didn't expect launching myself in a project like Business Online is how much time I would spend running after potential customers. Clients who needs a virtual assistant the most for handling booking just don't pickup the phone. Reason for denial often is that they want to provide a human touch. Even if it's a valid point, we can all come to the understanding that not picking up the phone causes more damage to your business than having no human touch. Of course saying it out loud just makes sense, but when you're on a cold call, you can't simply say that they've been doing it wrong all along! You have to make them come to this understanding by themselves. This is the main reason why selling with a script never really works. It's like making a plan to climb a mountain, in your plan everything is smooth sailing, but in reality you forgot to account for wind, and there goes the sale! I'm not sure this article's ordering of the benefits was conscious, but the final point about "Incremental Modernization" is critical.
