Get out of here! I don't want to see you here anymore. I heard from my boss about three times in the past two weeks. 😟 Lounging like a shameless European by the pool in the Namibian desert, I just wanted to take a quick look at the company Slack to see what's new. Unfortunately, as soon as I was spotted, I was mercilessly sent away. I will try someone else, I'm sure I'll be more lucky with them! Damn. Dejected, I go to a bar for another cider, what can I do? 😮💨 .. I meet a lot of HR managers every day. If you actually listen to them, you get to learn about the environments they operate in. Being a friendly human is a luxury. A large number of those who are motivated to change the company culture to a healthier and more sustainable image still encounter a lack of understanding from management. Vacation is only for weak individuals (bloody laws!), home office is only for those who break a leg and knock out at least four teeth in the process, up-to-the-minute attendance is unsurpassed evidence of solid work ethic and productivity. ✅ When do you think it will dawn on these alpha-bosses that treating employees as people first and foremost, not mere capital, will pay back many times more in productivity than stifling them and keeping a constant eye on them? It may be that they will actually look forward to working with you. 😲 Someone clone Milan Rataj , Marek Beran and Filip Lukac and distribute them, please. P.S. If you also want to hear to shut your laptop down after work, join us! We are looking for a BDR at the moment. 🚀

Founder & CEO of SMB Sales & Marketing, a natural & specialty foods brokerage. Experienced sales representation to take your brand to the next level!
There is a lot of talk about work-life-balance and unplugging! Taking a vacation and forgetting all your troubles. What happens if the whole SMB Sales & Marketing team is on the same vacation? A company retreat if you will.... Should someone check the emails and the phones? I say yes! If everyone is gone and no one is manning the ship, someone should at least make sure no skies are falling. Especially if the whole company is going to be gone a calendar week or more! I'm not talking an 8-hour shift, setting up an office, desperately searching for a WIFI spot.... More of a, I'll check emails while having coffee or while someone is in the shower or sitting on a bus. Since we would be at least 4 hours ahead anyway a little morning catch-up or in-transit communication doesn't take away from the fun! What say you? It is #brokerlife afterall! #sales #cpg #retail #sales

CEO & Co-Founder at go2work: Disrupting how the Construction & Skilled Trades Industries Finds & Hires Talent
At my past sales jobs, I noticed a common trend: Fridays were often considered the "chill/admin day" by many. While others took it easy, I found that Fridays were my most prosperous days for cold calling, setting up meetings, and closing deals. By doing the opposite of what was expected, I set myself apart. Instead of winding down, I ramped up. This approach allowed me to consistently achieve high results and close out the week on a high note. Success often comes from doing what others won't. Don't be afraid to break the mold and find your own path to achievement. Even to this day, Fridays are becoming my best day to set my company and team up for a successful next week. #go2work #go2workapp #SalesTips #ColdCalling #SuccessMindset #FridayHustle

Sales at awork 💜 creating happier teams with the #1 rated work management tool in DACH 🤗 workhappiness > monday blues 😀
Is deep work in sales possible? 🤔 My colleague Dorte is currently training to become a New Work Facilitator and we have interesting conversations about this - Follow her for more insights 💡 The other day, she told me from the concept of "deep work days" A day without any meetings, just to focus on your to-dos and strategy, and she wanted to implement this. "But you can't do this in sales, right?" - wrong 🙅🏻♂️ As I work remotely from Spain for the DACH market, we have different bank holidays. These are my deep work days and I love them. No meetings, and most of the time not even my colleagues are working, so also no slack. Just focus 🙌🏻 I use them to work on outreaches, clean the pipe and other strategic work. During my normal week, I implemented a little focus day. Half of my Friday is always blocked, and I can finish open tasks, recap and prepare the next week. Do you also work with (half) focus days? #workmanagement #techsales #newwork

I design and facilitate your team's key strategic and creative meetings, workshops, and retreats to be efficient, effective, and engaging experiences that actualize your full potential.
“Be the Guide—not the Hero.” Yesterday I facilitated a sales team meeting where this advice came sharply into focus. 🧙🏻♂️ The team had spent weeks shifting strategy and process, but with no results to show. It wasn’t clear why. Were the leads all on vacation? Did we need to offer a bigger discount or incentive? As I guided team members to individually share their successes and challenges for the week, the manager realized that her team didn’t understand the process in the same level of detail and was missing crucial steps, resulting in no new sales for weeks. We then walked through the process and I captured each bullet point in a slide deck sent after the meeting. By taking the tension out of the room, allowing team members to speak freely about their confusion and the manager to find the solution, the gridlock was untangled. Had I as a facilitator attempted to take sides or come up with my own solution, I would have become part of the problem. Our job is to help YOU do your job easier, not try to be an expert in your field. If you’re interested in a free 60-minute remote facilitated session hosted by me, book a call on my calendar to let me know what your team is working on. 💡 #meetingsthatwork #facilitation #workeasy #meeteasy

Founder of Positive Momentum, a Certified B Corporation®, Author of Full-Time to Fulfilled, Lead Host of Meet the CEO podcast
Here is 7-9 of my New Year share of 12 no-nonsense approaches that I've seen deployed in the real world and that have tangibly enhanced executive team effectiveness. (You can find links to 1-3 and 4-6 in the first comment below) 7️⃣ Job swaps One of the best things my boss did for me when I was a wet-behind-the-ears exec was to make me job swap for a week with the Group Operations Director. He and I (Sales & Marketing if you hadn’t already guessed) had been warring for some months and the CEO – and truth be told everyone else - was heartily sick of it. He made us swap schedules, phones, email addresses, cars, offices, everything – and with no notice. We were not allowed to make contact with our teams or any of our other usual stakeholders for an entire week. We bitched and moaned about how it wasn’t the right time. He didn’t care and made us do it anyway. Best-work-week-ever! Completely and permanently fixed the working relationship. We went from having very little respect for each other to complete trust in just 5 days. We’ve since introduced this idea to clients, and several have gone further and made it a regular constructive routine - rather than a quick fix for a couple of (ok, maybe just one) idiots. 8️⃣ Always-on digital channel Even if you’ve already got a WhatsApp/Teams/Slack channel setup for the exec team (and if not, why not?) are you using it properly? If you accept the idea that as an exec member you are more than just a representative of your function but in fact a co-leader of the whole organisation in every respect, then knowing more about what goes on in the world of your exec colleagues day-to-day is essential. And A LOT goes on day-to-day that your exec colleagues could use an update on in-the-moment – rather than the interminable update sessions that old-fashioned exco teams subject each other to a week/a month after the thing actually happened. The highs, the lows: it all matters. Business in 2024 is light speed – a digital channel makes sure every exec is on the journey together. 9️⃣ White space meetings For many years we worked with a large, listed business in Austria who, as is common in that part of the world, had a very small executive team comprising just 5 members. Twice per year they would meet in private (no guests allowed, though I was once a fly-on-the-wall for a few hours) and with no agenda whatsoever. They gave themselves total freedom to discuss anything they felt relevant with no constraints. The outcomes of these kinds of what some might call 'a retreat’ are legendary. We know exec teams that with this kind of space have made game-changing decisions like retiring entire product lines, exiting/entering new markets, making bold reorganisations, etc, etc. This is obviously a radical extension on the much-fewer-agenda-item idea of 2️⃣ but imagine what you could do with no agenda at all occasionally! I'll be back tomorrow for the final 3 ideas. Please keep those comments and further advice going below.

I help busy people keep their homes, offices, and recreational areas clean and dirt-free so that they can focus on bigger things.
You could miss your shot 14,481 times and still be considered the greatest... Just like Kobe Bryant, who has the most missed shots of all time, you could turn your missed shots into BIG POINTS When Kobe was down he went for high-percentage shots to run the score up... In sales, the high percentage shots are INBOUND leads Answering the phone Answering messages Following up with old leads Online billboards Answering your DMs INBOUND sales close %14.7 of the time as opposed to %1.6 for outbound leads (cold calling, texting, mail) WHY would anyone NOT pick up the phone? Most people don't have time or don't have the skill and I realize this My virtual receptionists can cut admin costs by $1000/mo and boost appointments by 70% in 60-90 days. Plus, you'll never miss a call They can also set up and MANAGE all of your social media Benefits of outsourcing your Admin tasks -Increased productivity (42%) -Improved customer service (38%) -Reduced costs (30%) Other benefits include: -Increased sales (28%) -Increased appointments set (70%) -Improved work-life balance (26%) -Reduced stress (24%) -Increased flexibility (22%) -Improved time management (20%) -Reduced employee turnover (18%) Quit taking unnecessary 3-pointers and missing out on the ones you have a good chance at making It's 10x easier Speaking with a warm lead who was looking for YOU (inbound calls)... Instead of contacting somebody out of the blue and expecting a slam dunk If your business involves sales and you need a virtual front desk to help you capture and nurture your leads, DM me and I'll get you set up
