Day 27 of our Fitness Challenge addresses an often-overlooked barrier: resistance to change. Changing long-standing habits, especially those related to health and fitness, can be daunting but is crucial for lasting wellness. Here are some strategies to overcome this resistance: Start Small: Implement tiny changes gradually rather than attempting a major overhaul all at once. Small successes can build confidence and lead to bigger changes. Understand the 'Why': Keep a clear and personal reason for your fitness goals in front of you. Knowing why you want to change can be a powerful motivator during tough times. Seek Support: Share your goals with friends, family, or a fitness group. Support and encouragement from others can make it easier to stick to your new habits. Visualize Success: Regularly visualize yourself achieving your goals. This mental rehearsal can prepare you for action and inspire you to keep pushing forward. Celebrate Progress: Recognize and celebrate each step you make towards change, no matter how small. This can reinforce your new behaviors and boost your motivation. How have you dealt with resistance to change in your fitness journey? #AccountantFitnessChallenge
