I've noticed that some roles come with longer notice periods, such as 6 months or more. For those of you who have experience with this, how have you navigated such notice periods when planning your next career move? What strategies have worked best for you in balancing your current responsibilities with future opportunities?

How can we put ourselves in the best position to get a high impact job? We probably can’t just walk into our dream job right away. Instead we should need to build our skills, connections and credentials – what we call career capital – and put ourselves in a better position for the long-term. Especially early on in our career, it’s best to focus on both impact and career capital.

there could be several reasons why i not get the job. It could be due to qualifications, experience, fit with the company culture, or simply because there were other candidates who were a better match for the position. It's important to ask for feedback to understand how i can improve for future opportunities.
