Clogged condensate drain lines is one of the most common, yet avoidable air conditioning failures. It has the potential to cause serious property damage(especially when a/c units are in the ceiling above expensive furniture or equipment). Remind your air conditioning maintenance vendors to… 1) Clean your evaporator condensate pans. 2) Confirm condensate pump is free of sludge and operational 3) Vacuum out your drain lines. #facilitiesmanagement #airconditioningmaintenance

Practical Ways to Maximise Chiller Efficiency Chiller efficiency varies significantly with operating conditions and several other factors. Here are some tips to keep your chillers operating at optimal levels. - Keep your condenser and evaporator tubes free of contaminant such as minerals and debris. It should be brush cleaned periodically. - Use treated water to prevent the growth of microbes and iron remnants. - Ensure the water flow rate and refrigerant levels are within the manufacturers’ recommended range. - Upgrade your chiller to newer and more energy-efficient models. - Perform comprehensive maintenance regularly to inspect key components such as compressor, tubes, and coils to improve efficiency. #tgifriday #fridayfact #chillerefficiency #industrialcooling #sustainblehvac #saishaengineering

With the added risk of pipes freezing over the winter months, it's important to take steps to protect your boiler and central heating system from the elements. One of the most effective ways to do this is by installing trace heating systems. These systems work by using electrical cables to trace, or wrap around, your central heating pipework and use a heating element to raise or maintain the temperature of the pipework. This is one of the most efficient methods of protecting your pipework from freezing, as it targets the exact area and reduces heat loss that you would otherwise get from keeping your heating on low consistently. If you would like to find out more about trace heating systems, or how we can help protect your pipework, get in touch today! https://lnkd.in/eUXEGJ2w #TraceHeatingSystems #FrozenPipes

what is the key considerations when you are hesitating on choose dry cooler or cooloing tower? Dry coolers are best specified where water conservation and reduced maintenance are the key considerations. Since dry coolers do not utilize any water or evaporative cooling whatsoever, dry coolers eliminate water treatment, all plume and Legionella concerns. However, dry coolers will use more energy and require a larger footprint than evaporative or hybrid fluid coolers of the same capacity. In a dry cooler, heat from the process loop fluid dissipates through the coil tube surface and out to the fins – not through evaporation. Ambient air is drawn in over the coil surface by a fan located at the top of the unit. Heat from the process fluid transfers to the air via sensible cooling and discharges to the atmosphere.

3 Ways To Detect It Is Time For A New Boiler There are many ways to know if it is time to replace your boiler and here we will discuss the top three. 1. No Hot Water Or Heat: A boiler produces hot water which is used to heat a home as well as supply hot water at the taps. A lack of hot water may mean it is time for a replacement. 2. Uneven Temperatures: When one room is warm and another cold, it could mean your boiler is on the verge of failure. A well-working system provides consistent temperatures throughout a home. 3. Rusting: If you are able to see rust on pipes leading to and from the boiler you can assume there is rust in places that are not visible and replacement is likely. We replace boilers in Cleveland for our valued customers. Call today if your boiler is starting to fail! #BoilerReplacement

WINTER MAINTENANCE TIPS. If you have a Heat Pump HVAC unit and the reversing valve freezes up during the cold weather, ensure you know that you can switch your thermostat to Emergency (EM) Heat and the HVAC will use the old conventional coils inside the system to keep your house warm. In addition, ensure you wrap your outside spigots with some type of insulation to prevent water pipes from freezing and bursting
