If he can't respect AMERICANS because their skin is the wrong color or their anatomy is different, means he puts those AMERICANS into a "less than" category. WHAT DID TRUMP DO FOR AMERICA? Trump is an anchor baby. His dad came over for Austria with a box of (most probably Nazi) gold. Then he got a small, $10,000,000 loan from his dad that he spent buying low-income apartments. Then he decided he didn't have to do repairs or upkeep in those places anymore, but raised the rent anyway. After enough time running down the property, he sells it to a shell company fro a tax write-off on one and an expense to the other. ALL HE IS DOING IS NAMING IT A DIFFERENT COMPANY: IT'S ALL STILL UNDER TRUMP INT. That company makes it into a Trump property where he can raise rents again, making money by displacing minorities and poor whites. NO REALLY. GIVE ME SPECIFICS It's not like his family built the railroad or helped settle the West. They just got here a generation ago, but he's supposed to be the model American? Why? Because he put his name on a few buildings? Because he charges a lot more than what his places are worth? Why are $30 sneakers suddenly worth $300 when a slave in China stitches on a gold Trump? WHTY WE SAY HE WILL END DEMOCRACY Because HE says he will. This is not me being a jerk. This is me repeating HIS words. GRIFTING TO STAY OUT OF PRISON Donald Trump does not care for America. He cares for what he can take from it: the perfect Anti-American. You see, we don't DO fascism in The USA. We FIGHT fascists. We don't grow them here - with the exception of the racist portion of the MAGA movement. Fascism is un-American because it takes all the power from the citizens and instills them in one man. That is EXACTLY what we fought against in The Revolutionary War: A King. Pretty good summary of the critique of the cases against Trump by Megyn Kelly as she schools Jason Calacanis on this issue IMO. Let's hope David O. Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya can stick to the commitment to end the discussion of this on the All-In Podcast (who's episodes have mostly been great lately IMO). I watch AiP to stay connected to the Silicon Valley vibe, learn stuff and get more "light" then "heat," so to speak. Still be entertaining, of course, we're not asking for PBS, lol. Just be smart/reasonable and not devolve into hyper-partisan "hackery" potentially while ignoring the insane levels of hypocrisy this election cycle on a range of issues IMO. How about this, instead of focusing on why we shouldn't support someone, how about we focus on the actual policies proposed, along with past performance and evaluate that? Just an idea. I’m not saying don’t vote for T&V, but I’m asking the gentle readers a question: Is Vance truly a person from the people like you? Do we know who others in history were regarded as such? Do you want to be aware and hold them accountable? Are any of you concerned about technocratic influence? If any think I’m being a conspiracy theorist, I ask a question. Is Theil to be ignored in instituting Planatir’s vision? Does the like of Jamie Dimon being influential in your government settle with you? Theil paid $10M for Vance. Does he expect an ROI? Just watching and warning. Again, I intend to vote for T&V but in these times of fervor, I’m asking for us to grind on them to keep them out of the weeds. If we just go rah rah without warning them, we will get whatever they serve up. The orders are taken during the campaign phase. After that, the order window for the common person is CLOSED.
