On Sunday, our Luton club ran an event for visitors to learn CPR with the British Heart Foundation and meet footballer Tom Lockyer. The event included family friendly educational activities such as worksheets for kids to help them memorise their address, as well as other steps they would need to take if they ever had to call emergency services. It was a fun filled day with bouncy castles and face painting for kids to enjoy, whilst educating families on the importance of life saving actions. The club ran several CPR sessions for people of all ages, including Tom who also got involved. The event was a great example of how at David Lloyd Clubs we’re all about supporting local communities and raising awareness for important causes. Well done team Luton! #BritishHeartFoundation #DLCProud #Community #Awareness
Its nice to see you do something to support the community, I asked for the donation of a lane so a competitive swimmer could swim 34k in 10 hours to raise money for our local hospice, after not replying to my email, I called, the said person, never called back, after a couple of calls a nice lady passed on a message to say, its too involved. This may be the case and this may be your prerogative, however, an email back would have been nice. It came across as unprofessional and uncaring. (note: it wasn't the Luton Club)
Well done to Nikki and everyone at Luton that was involved 👏
It was such a great day ❤️❤️❤️
Amazing work Nikki and team Luton - this is brilliant to see. Well done
