Roundtable Summary: Tackling Employee Engagement and Retention At a recent roundtable, over 100+ HR directors from various industries came together to tackle the pressing issue of #employeeengagement and retention. The discussion highlighted significant challenges, including high turnover costs, loss of institutional knowledge, and declining morale, all of which can lead to compromised #customerservice and overall #businessperformance. Businesses are under pressure, it's clear there's an emphasis on people problems and implementing #hrsolutions to address those points/problems. However, the roundtable also emphasised that within these challenges lie opportunities for #transformativechange. Participants agreed on the importance of comprehensive #engagementsurveys, #leadershipdevelopment, fostering positive work environments, and creating clear career pathways to retain top talent. #continuousfeedback and rigorous #exitinterview processes were identified as critical tools for ongoing improvement. Summary: The consensus was clear: while the challenges are substantial, the solutions are within our grasp and must be implemented with urgency and commitment. Backed by sufficient budgets, these strategies will not only resolve the engagement and #employeeretention crisis but also ensure a productive and efficient workforce, positioning companies for sustained success in a competitive market.
