Oriole Resources PLC - pleased to report an updated Inferred JORC-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 375 Koz @ 2.3 g/t for Bakassi Zone 1, one of four prospects at its 92.2%-owned Bibemi orogenic gold project in Cameroon. The resource update of 23% is based on an updated gold price, using a $2000/oz pit shell, over a strike length of 1270m and to a depth of over 260m below surface. There exists significant potential to expand the MRE at Bakassi Zone 1 and to identify additional resources at the other three prospects on the licence, namely Bakassi Zone 2, Lawa West and Lawa East, which are all located within a few km of Bakassi Zone 1. #westafrica #cameroon #goldexploration #goldmining #orr https://lnkd.in/eYKtvyZY

Oriole Resources reports gold shows from Gamboukou samples @OrioleResources #AIM #ORR. Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) has identified gold mineralisation at Gamboukou on its Central Licence Package (CLP) of tenements in Cameroon. The junior said gold was identified as part of a wider review of the potential for lithium mineralisation within the CLP following a site visit by consultancy Micon. Following that visit, a preliminary, regional stream sediment campaign of 407 samples was completed across the licence. Nine of these samples graded 10 parts per billion (ppb) Au or more with the highest value at 39ppb. Oriole added these results are comparable with... http://ow.ly/ctV2105MQkN

Proactive’s Tylah Tully gives us Just he Facts from Tolu Minerals Ltd (ASX:TOK)(Tolu Minerals Ltd (ASX:TOK)) lastest ASX anniuncement. Tolu completed Phase 1 of its Airborne Mobile Magneto Telluric (MT) survey over the Tolukuma area in Papua New Guinea. The survey has identified significant copper-gold porphyry and epithermal gold mineralisation targets, which are now ready for drill testing. The results include a conductivity anomaly extending beyond the southern boundary of the Tolukuma mine, with mineralisation continuing over two kilometres. The survey also revealed the Belavista advanced target, located 10 kilometres west of Tolukuma, where historical sampling showed promising gold, silver, copper, and zinc values, suggesting porphyry mineralisation. Additional advanced targets include the Idave and Karame epithermal systems, located 2.5 and 4 kilometres west of the Tolukuma mine, respectively. These targets... Tolu Minerals Ltd (ASX:TOK) managing director and CEO Iain Macpherson joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the results from a recently completed Phase 1 Airborne Mobile Magneto Telluric (MT) survey over the Tolukuma area in Papua New Guinea. The survey identified significant copper-gold porphyry and epithermal #gold targets with the results supporting the company's exploration and development strategy, potentially accelerating the expansion of the Tolukuma mine. Preliminary findings indicate a conductivity anomaly extending over two kilometres beyond Tolukuma’s southern boundary. Additionally, advanced targets such as Belavista, Idave and Karame have been identified, with historical samples from Belavista showing high concentrations of #gold, #silver, #copper and #zinc. Toubani Resources Ltd (ASX:TRE) CEO Phil Russo sits down with Proactive's Jonathan Jackson to talk through the high-grade oxide #gold intersections from infill drilling at the 2.4-million-ounce Kobada Gold Project in Mali. The company highlighted a significant find with a screen fire assay of 2 metres at 178 g/t gold within a broader 19-metre intersection averaging 20 g/t from a depth of 105 metres. These results are instrumental for Toubani in converting the Kobada deposit to higher JORC-compliant confidence levels, potentially delineating higher grade zones within the deposit. Russo noted the program’s role in derisking and enhancing the value of the Kobada deposit and expressed satisfaction with the results, which align with the company’s goals of confirming significant widths and grades. How to Avoid Dutch Disease? The two primary strategies that can help solve Dutch disease are listed below: 1, Deceleration of domestic currency appreciation The deceleration of currency appreciation is an easier and more viable strategy to prevent the adverse effects of Dutch disease. It can sometimes be achieved by smoothing the spending of revenues earned from the export of natural resources. One of the most common methods to do so is the creation of a sovereign wealth fund. Many developed and developing countries, including Australia, Canada, Norway, and Russia, manage large sovereign wealth funds. Sovereign wealth funds aim to stabilize the inflows of capital into the economy to prevent it from overheating and causing significant currency appreciation. Excess revenues can be spent on education or infrastructure that will help to diversify the economy. 2. Diversification of the economy The diversification of the economy is a strategy that can almost eliminate the negative impact of Dutch disease on the economy. Economic diversification can be achieved by subsidizing lagging sectors of the economy or establishing tariffs to support domestic producers.
