It is indeed time to rethink the way we build, deploy and monitor smart robots.

Over the summer of 2024, I embarked on an exciting project with my roommates Kushal Dave and Rishabh Jhamnani: building an autonomous robot. We ended up with ARKbot, a robot capable of detecting objects, navigating towards them, and grabbing them. This foundational functionality paves the way for future advancements—ranging from everyday tasks like collecting waste to critical applications such as search and rescue operations in disaster zones. This project taught me invaluable lessons in robotics, AI, and embedded systems, and I’m thrilled to share it with you!
